Rapunzanna is the femslash ship between Rapunzel and Anna from the Tangled and Frozen fandoms.
Canon[]
As Rapunzel and Anna are from different series, they have never met in canon. Even though Rapunzel makes a brief cameo appearance in Frozen, as one of the visiting nobles who attends Elsa's coronation. Along with a few crossover games could have them cross paths with one another or get them added to the same team, by the player's choice. The two also appear in Ralph Breaks the Internet, where there's online versions of the two from the Oh My Disney website.
Anna and Rapunzel have very similar personalities, being both optimistic, energic, enthusiastic and brave. Both were locked in their homes and have felt alone for most of their lives. Eventually, both are euphoric when they finally go outside and they hope to finally find what they have wanted all their lives. Their homes are also surrounded by water. During their movies, the two embark on a journey accompanied by a non-prince boy, Flynn and Kristoff, who they fall in love with at the end. Both have their hair colour altered by magic, as Anna had a lock of white hair caused by Elsa's powers while Rapunzel had blonde hair because of a magic flower. At the end of their movies, Anna lost her white lock while Rapunzel's hair turns brown when she lost her powers.
Fanon[]
The ship is part of the Rise of the Brave Tangled Frozen Dragons fandom and its sub-fandoms. It is also a pretty popular ship within the Disney Princesses and Disney Femslash fandoms. However, some people like to pair them as friends. People like to believe that If they met, they would be excited by the large number of things they have in common, in a similar way to when Anna met Hans. Sometimes they are shipped in a threesome with Elsa.
There have even been fans who theorized that Anna and Rapunzel might be cousins. Meanwhile the Frozen Tangled Guardians fandom has Rapunzel as Anna and Elsa's mother, as well as Jack Frost as their father. Some modern AU's have them wearing their Ralph Breaks the Internet outfits.
There's currently +30 fanfics of the ship in AO3, while in FFN there are 144 featuring the two and only 2 under the pairing tag. The ship also have a small fanbase in pages lik DeviantArt and Tumblr.
