Ratchjack is the slash ship between Ratchet and Wheeljack from the Transformers fandom.

Season 2[]
TRIANGULATION
Optimus gives orders to the Autobots to split up to find the artifacts, he tells Ratchet that he should have back up on the mission. Ratchet points out that everyone else already has their assignments, but Optimus was considering the last autobot on Earth. Ratchet can't believe that Optimus is suggesting Wheeljack, who is insubordinate and Bulkhead's partner anyways. Optimus believe that Ratchet would be wise to accept Wheeljack's combat expertise, much to Ratchet's frustration.
TRIAGE
Wheeljack is waiting on his ship when Ratchet arrives through a portal. Wheeljack asks if Optimus thought Ratchet needed back up, but Ratchet says that he thought Wheeljack needed supervision. Wheeljack promises the doc to be on his best behavior, and Ratchet then tells him not to call him doc. Wheeljack agrees to that, but calls Ratchet "sunshine" much to his frustration.
They get into Wheeljack's ship, and Wheeljack asks about everyone being busy with the iocon relics. Ratchet explains the relics, and Wheeljack says that he has Ratchet's back. Ratchet says that he doesn't need anyone for back up, and he that he already proved himself in the war for Cybertron. Wheeljack sarcastically says that he's lucky Ratchet is there, when he gets an alert that a bogey is following them.
Wheeljack tells Ratchet that he might want to grab onto something and starts to move around Soundwave. Ratchet asks if he's trying to get them killed, when Soundwave deploys something. Wheeljack asks what it is and Ratchet says it's a surveillance drone as it starts to fire on them. Ratchet tells Wheeljack to stay on Soundwave, since he's only using the drone to distract them, and Wheeljack says he welcomes a good distraction as he pursuits him. Wheeljack gets behind the drone, but Ratchet says that this is no time to be houndoging as he fires on it. The drone then causes them to nearly crash right into a cliff wall, but Wheeljack is able to maneuver them out of the way, and take down the drone. Ratchet is amazed that he did it, but the drone gets off one last shot and the ship crashes.
Wheeljack says that the thruster is fried, and Ratchet says that he should haver pursued Soundwave like he told him to. Wheeljack says that the drone would have still been after them. Ratchet says that they need to resume their search for the relic, but Wheeljack says they won't be doing it in the ship. He then sees the crashed drone, and Ratchet tells him to be careful. Luckily the drone is out of commission. Wheeljack has an idea to plant a grenade for when Shockwave returns for the drone. Ratchet asks why they would do that when they could plant a much better one. A virus that would take down the entire Decepticon warship. Wheeljack says it seems complicated and thought they were in a hurry. Rathcet thinks that they chance of getting all the relics is worth the chance of loosing one. Wheeljack asks if he can do that, and Ratchet says he'll need back up.
Ratchet calls up Raf who says that they'll need a decoy virus so that the Decepticons don't catch onto the real one. Ratchet thinks of something much simpler and looks to Wheeljack's grenade. Wheeljack picks up on the idea of not letting it go off, and jokes about it being a waste of a perfectly good grenade. He does toss it to Ratchet who plants the decoy and starts to walk off. Ratchet asks where he's going and Wheeljack says he's gonna buy Ratchet time. Possibly get the relic too and Transforms to drive off.
As Ratchet is uploading the virus he gets a call from Wheeljack and tells him not to call him Doc again. Wheeljack wheerily says he's sorry, and Ratchet realizes that something's wrong. Wheeljack says that he has maybe two minutes and Ratchet realizes that Soundwave is on his way. Ratchet calls for Wheeljack, but he gets no response. After Soundwave takes the bait, Ratchet quickly drives off to search for Wheeljack.
He finds him passed out and lifts him, as Wheeljack groggily opens his eyes. He says he was just resting, and Ratchet relaxes. They then drive back to the ship, and Ratchet insists that Wheeljack return to base for a thorough examination. Wheeljack says that the ship needs more repairs than he does, and Ratchet awkwardly thanks him for being his back up. Wheeljack says he'll see him around as Ratchet leaves through the portal gate.
HURT
Wheeljack arrives just as Ratchet tells the other what Bulkhead's condition is. Wheeljack asks what the damage is and Ratchet explains how bad it is. Wheeljack's seen Ratchet's work and he should be able to fix Bulkhead, but Ratchet can't operate till Bulkhead regains some strength. Wheeljack asks who did this to Bulkhead, but Optimus thinks it's better to focus on the Bulkhead's recovery rather than revenge. Wheeljack then rolls out and Ratchet says that he's most likely going to do something rash.
DARKEST HOUR
As the Decepticons attack earth, Wheeljack arrives in his ship and starts fighting them off. Ratchet asks how he knew to come and Wheeljack got an energy surge that led him there. He hopes Ratchet doesn't mind the company and Ratchet says that he doesn't. But he thought that after everything...Wheeljack says that they're still all on the same side no matter what.

- Ratchet says that after the stunt with Miko, Wheeljack can stay rogue.

- Ratchet reprimands Wheeljack for nearly hitting Miko.

- Ratchet asks if they got the bone and Wheeljack says that the hunt kinda imploded.
- When Wheeljack initially refuses to go with Arcee, Ratchet says that he wouldn't want to make him abandon his post. Wheeljack then gives in.

- Wheeljack says that they have to do what they have to do, for Ratchet.

Ratchjack has decent popularity within the Prime fandom, which is where most shippers started shipping the two. This was due to the two being more opposite's attract in terms of attitude's while still having similar vibes.
On AO3, Ratchjack is the third most written ship for Ratchet and the most written for Wheeljack. It is also the eighth most written ship in the Transformers: Prime tag.
