RatioMei is the het ship between Veritas Ratio and Ruan Mei from the Honkai: Star Rail fandom.
Canon[]
Veritas Ratio and Ruan Mei were both released as limited 5-stars in Version 1.6.
Their respective debuts in the Trailblaze Continuation quests reveal that both Ruan Mei's and Ratio's tendencies are somewhat morally grey and their personalities can be difficult to get along with, as their shared high intelligence can come off as indifference.
Ratio is one of the only characters who acknowledges that Ruan Mei is different than she appears to be, and that she is seeking more than just research of life. Ratio's first mention of Ruan Mei is when the Trailblazer is sent there to the Seclusion Zone to help her with her issue, and meet Ratio, wearing his alabaster head. Having witnessed her creations, Ratio says he knows what she is "up to down there", implying that he has known of her creation of the Emanator of Propagation clone, and is concerned about what it may do if left unchecked.
Ratio also leaves notes across the Seclusion Zone that can be found and read by the player:

These notes being placed around tell that Ratio has been all throughout Ruan Mei's secret laboratory. It is likely he knew of her pursuits and followed after her out of curiosity and interest, or that they collaborated on some effort and he simply did not divulge that to the Trailblazer.
At the end of the Trailblaze Mission, the Trailblazer messages Ruan Mei about Dr. Ratio, asking her: "Right, that alabaster head ... Is he a friend of yours?" To which Ruan Mei simply replies with " ... " and a confused looking emote of herself.

RatioMei is both Ratio and Ruan Mei's most popular het ship.
Their ship began in Patch 1.6; Crown of the Mundane and Divine, where both Ratio and Ruan Mei were released as playable characters. They were also both participants in the Trailblaze Mission, and though they never directly interacted with each other, it is heavily implied that Ratio and Ruan Mei have at the very least crossed paths in their academic pursuits.

Fans of the ship took notice of them in particular because Ratio was found to be already wandering around Ruan Mei's secret laboratory, where apparently one needs her special permission to access. This had fans under the assumption that they must know each other, likely keeping such a truth secret. It is often regarded by shippers that Ratio is "chasing" after Ruan Mei, and her research endeavors, as he expresses his own thoughts for her and her intelligence, as shown by the notes he left all around her lab, and his voiceline about her, mentioning her ambition.
They also had BattlePass icons released together, titled "Academia," depicting Ratio and Ruan Mei dressed in lab wear, wearing glasses. Shippers see this as evidence that they conduct scientific experiments and tests together, and like to imagine the couple as introverted and devoted to their pursuit of knowledge. Most fans also see them as only able to tolerate one another, rather than anyone else, since Ratio is known for finding most people "idiots," but acknowledges Ruan Mei’s intelligence and dedication to her work, and Ruan Mei is self-isolating to a point where she does not care to create connections with anyone not aligned with her interests, but Ratio would be able to keep up with her brilliance.
Their relationship is often viewed as highly secret, with Ruan Mei being ever elusive and Ratio always hunting after her. Fans especially think this because Ratio's Path is the Hunt, which it's followers are known for seeking whatever they are after relentlessly. Thus it is viewed that in his attainment of knowledge, he is in the shadow of Ruan Mei, who is what he considers the epitome of a true "genius."
Often, angst and denial of feelings are involved with views of the ship, as neither of them are good with emotions, and would have trouble truly exploring their affection for each other. A common highlight fans note as well, is the comparison of mundane to divine; Ruan Mei was gazed upon by Nous and invited into the Genius Society, whereas Ratio has accomplished neither, despite his many academic achievements among mortals and his contributions to the scientific studies of the universe. This is explored as a source of slight envy and intense admiration from Ratio of Ruan Mei, where he sees her as the "divine" that he has never been able to touch, and so his feelings are conflicted on whether to despise her for doing what he could never, or yearn for her due to her boundless intellect that attracts him.
Shippers note that Ruan Mei would most likely be able to uniquely handle Ratio's often callous demeanor. Her singular focus on her research would render her largely indifferent to his behavior, letting her tolerate it without issue.
