Rayabela is the femslash ship between Raya and Isabela Madrigal from the Raya and the Last Dragon and Encanto fandoms.

Because Raya and Isabela are from two separate Disney universes, they haven't met in canon. Disney is yet to feature both Raya and Isa in the same media, that can allow its many film characters to be placed in the same universe, where the two would be able to interact or simply cross paths with one another.

Fanon

Rayabela was created by Detective88 on DeviantArt. With both Raya and Isa being 2021 Disney characters that people have headcannoned as lesbians, the crossover between them ship soared. Most of the fanworks on it had started out as trade-arts between Detective88 and their friends, who support or have added it to their personal crossover multiverce, before other people got inspired to base their own fanworks on it. Mostly DeviantArt memes, collages and the occasional hand or computer made drawings. Rayabela may not be as popular as Rayaari and Elsabela, it is still a well liked ship on DeviantArt. Its support on other websites, however, are very small.

Because Raya spend a large part of her life mistrusting others before she learned how to again, however, people were unsure if she would feel calm with Isabela or not. Should the crossover have them meet before the ending event of Raya's story. Just as Isabela serving as her grandmother's beloved golden image would force her to stay away from the likes of Raya. Until Isa was given the freedom to break free from that life, and would be allowed to go near those that Alma would have saw as a bad influence to her perfect Isabela. Despite these thoughts, it hasn't stopped people from supporting the ship. As they tend to focus on their aftermath selves rather than the negative people they originally started out as.

With Raya being a main protagonist like Isabela's youngest sister, however, it got another group to ship her with Mirabel instead. Even though the energy people got from them isn't as strong or supportive as Rayabela and Elsaya. The later ship also proves that Isabela isn't the first magical woman that Raya has been crossed shipped with, making Rayabela not so different from Elsaya. Despite Raya having no magical abilities of her own, she has been featured as someone who is acquainted with those who are; in both canon and fanon.

Two of the couples that the ship has been compared with or simply portrayed the two women as happen to be lesbian/LGBTQ+ couples. The ships of those two couples are Lumity from The Owl House and Chaggie from Hazbin Hotel, from people seeing them having a similar energy to Rayabela. There have also been occasions when the two have been cast as Aladdin x Jasmine from Disney's Aladdin. Since Isabela has been viewed as a princess-like character, and even though Raya is one in canon she has more of a warrior than royalty vibe. Explaining why they would have Isa as the upper class-like person instead of Raya, for the crossover ship.
