The next time we see Ray and Vargas together, is when Ray hears how, Vargas tells everyone, including him that they had to put, the stone on the symbol of had The Moon, and The Sun together to which, everyone begins to help him, move it while everyone works together, to do it before Ray and Vargas, observes how the stone breaks, and reveals the third key to what Ray hears, as Nova gives them orders, to use their powers, to melt both before, they see that it had, not worked to what Vargas hears, as Vera gives them orders to use, their powers to be able to, help Nova's friends to increase the flame, and melt both before everyone, celebrates to see that it had worked, before they both observe, how Victor puts the key, in the door and, he together with Nova, open it to which then Ray and Vargas, enter the garden with everyone, else and once inside Vargas, shouts happily "Blood Fruit Of The Best". While both Eliza, Willa and Zed end up hurt by the probe to which, Vargas shouts that he helps them while, he also approaches to help them get up to which, he and Ray observe how, their leaders declare war, and move away to prepare for, the battle to which Vargas observes, how Nova annoys Ray to, pack his things before Vargas with, his friends help Zed walk while, Ray leaves with, Nova and later both, help their friends gather all. the fruit from the garden, before they observe how their, leaders arrive to which Vargas observes, how Ray help Nova and Victor to get to, the antenna to put the moonstones in, them before they both observe how their, friends put together the stones, that are the same before they both, observe how rain clouds begin to form, before Ray hears how Vera tells her, that the moonstones followed by Vargas, who corrects her and says "You will say a moonstone." While they both celebrate, with their friends when, they realize that, it was raining before, Ray and Vargas hear how, Nova and Victor tell them, that the garden was cured.
The last time we see Ray and Vargas together, is when they are both singing, with their friends, while celebrating their union, and that they, would have harvested, The Blood Fruit while, Vargas and Ray, are dancing happily with, the others while singing "Show him the world". During which Vargas, dances with Willa while Ray dances, with Vera.

Shortly after the release of the movie Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 4, many fans immediately loved the Vargas and Ray LGBT ship. Fans really wanted to see more scenes of them together and wanted them to become a canonical couple in the next Z-O-M-B-I-E-S movie. Fans made fanfiction, fan edits, and fanarts of them together on TikTok, AO3, Twitter, and Tumblr. Many fans were disappointed to see that they did not have a kissing scene. They were also disappointed that neither of them had appeared in the Christmas music video. Despite the fact that on TikTok and Twitter it is not the most written ship about Z-O-M-B-I-E-S for both characters, Raygas has become very popular on Tumblr and AO3.

- Many fans have pointed out that Ray and Vargas resemble Bucky and Bonzo during the first Z-O-M-B-I-E-S movie because they share similar personalities. Both of them clash at the beginning and begin to get closer throughout the movie.
