Rebzi is the femslash ship between Rebecca and Uzi Doorman from the Murder Drones fandom.
Canon[]
Rebeca and Uzi’s relationship was not further explored nor developed due to Rebecca’s scarce role within the Murder Drones series. Overall, Uzi and Rebecca’s relationship is very antagonistic due to Uzi being viewed as a “freak” among her peers. This resulted in her being bullied by Rebecca and others for many unfair reasons.
Heartbeat[]
Rebecca makes a small cameo in the second episode of Murder Drones. During a flashback to reveal how Uzi behaves during class hours, the teacher asks Uzi about her independence despite having to participate in a group for their assignment. She attempts to defend herself by lying; she stated that most wanted to pair with her, but she simply declined them. Lizzy, who is paired with Rebecca and Doll, interjected and explained that she and the others (possibly referring Doll and Rebecca) freak them out. Rebecca makes a shy finger gesture at Uzi in response to this as the latter dives into a bin to hide herself from the crowd.
The Promening[]
During Uzi’s guilt lamenting over feeling sympathy for N after she demanded him to stay away from her, Rebecca abruptly shoves her violently as she walked past Uzi going through her locker. As Rebecca is nonchalantly continuing to walk and chat with her friend, Uzi attempts to project a book at her head forcefully in vain as she accidentally clunks Braidon instead. She angrily watches Rebecca walk away.
Cabin Fever[]
Rebecca was one of the many students who cowered in fear at the mere presence of Uzi. It is unknown where this sudden anxiousness appeared from, considering how neutral and tranquil she is around Uzi’s proximity in previous episodes. When discovering that Uzi is friends with the ghastly disassembly drones, N and V, Rebecca consoled N for the supposed belief he was cast underneath somewhat of an abusive relationship from being around the purple haired worker.
After Uzi returns from investigating an abandoned building near the camps, she is accidentally called out by N. She's forced to come out of hiding and awkwardly speak to her peers. Naturally, everyone, including Rebecca, flinches from her sudden appearance, causing one of the teens to accidentally launch an arrow at her. She ceases the arrow’s movement mid air and unwillingly deforms it into a fleshy organism. Realizing she is in a horrifically dangerous situation whilst and realizing her transformation, she dashed into the woods. N and V quickly follow, V dismissively telling the campers to do whatever they want.
Acknowledging this, Rebecca gestures at her boyfriend, Darren, to have a make out in one of the old cabins. Upon entering the cabin Uzi resides in, they realize the life threatening situation they are in once Uzi slams the door shut behind them. Rebecca and her partner cower in fear as the transformed Uzi swiftly attacks. Uzi devoured Darren, completely unaware that Rebecca had survived her injuries despite leaving her disembodied torso behind. She desperately crawls to the other campers before Uzi could notice.
Once she does, she attempts to warn the campers of Uzi’s horrifying transfiguration but struggles to remember her name. When describing her with visual description, such as purple hair and Hot Topic attire, the students still failed to identify who she was referring to. When the Solver Uzi arrives at the scene Rebecca succumbs to her death of major oil loss.
Fanon[]
Rebzi is a rare pair and or crack ship in the Murder Drones fandom. Due to their antagonistic relationship being paired with the fact that Uzi has murdered Rebecca greatly diminishes the ship’s popularity; this is also supported by Rebecca’s low screen time appearances as a minor character. However, it has surprisingly gained popularity despite these reasons. It is safe to assume that it could be inspired by the Luzi ship, the femslash pairing for Lizzy and Uzi, due to Rebecca and Lizzy’s identical characterization.
Notably, Rebecca tends to express affection to different people simultaneously; examples show when she is enamored by N after she discovers he is a pilot, acting flustered and somewhat flirty despite being in a relationship. Fans may misinterpret this as polysexuality and or pansexuality that leaves an open spot for Uzi in her love interests. She expresses a more innocent and shy personality that greatly differs from her own when in this state, which some fans may relate to a Beauty and Beauty trope between her and Uzi. This is stated because of Uzi’s monstrous Absolute Solver that transformed her to gain eldritch qualities that caused the death of Rebecca, thus being the “beast” of the relationship.
A more suggestive note fans may have produced is how Uzi chose to consume the lower half of Rebecca’s body instead of aiming above her waist like Darren. This is obviously due to being a thriller scene, but nonetheless, shippers enjoy having their fun.
