RetaMint is the femslash ship between Lettuce Midorikawa and Mint Aizawa in the Tokyo Mew Mew fandom.

Tokyo Mew Mew (2002)[]
Lettuce and Mint were both at the Red Data Animal Exhibit, a museum about endangered animals, when there were infused with the DNA of endangered animals and became mew mews, magical girls with the ability to fight aliens who were threatening humanity. Mint was the first to be discovered by Ichigo and was brought to Cafe Mew Mew. Lettuce was there as a customer as her friends were talking about rumors of a ghost at their school, and Mint decided to investigate it with Ichigo because she believed the 'ghost' was actually a chimera animal. However, this turned out to be Lettuce in her mew form, and she attack Mint and Ichigo because she was scared until the two calmed her down and brought her in to join the team.
Mint and Lettuce regularly fought the aliens side-by-side in combat and were generally seen to get along. When Mint was depressed over her idol Zakuro refusing to join the mew mews despite being the fifth mew mew, Lettuce showed concern for her. When Lettuce had a crush on a boy named Norihiro, Mint was inquisitive of her crush when Ichigo announced it to everybody. After he gifted Lettuce a book about Tahiti, Mint and the others agreed that it was love and encouraged Lettuce to confess to him.
Tokyo Mew Mew New[]
In the anime reboot, Mint was the first mew mew, and had already been turned into a mew mew and joined the mew project prior to the start of the series. Lettuce was at their undercover museum, the Red Data Animal Exhibit, and was found to be compatible with the DNA of the finless porpoise. When the fire alarm was set off, Mint brought Lettuce outside to be shot with a beam that infused her with the DNA of her animal, turning her into a mew mew with the power to transform into a magical girl and fight off the aliens.
Lettuce later drank tea at Cafe Mew Mew with her friends, and Mint saw on a screen that she was one of the mew mews. Lettuce's friends were talking about rumors of a ghost at their school, and Mint decided that she and Ichigo should investigate it, as they believed it might actually be a chimera animal. However, the 'ghost' turned out to be Lettuce's powers manifesting from her despair over not having any real friends, and she transformed into a mew mew for the first time. Lettuce was afraid and kept attacking Mint and Ichigo, but after Ichigo managed to calm her down, she and Mint brought to Cafe Mew Mew to join the team.
Mint became depressed after Zakuro refused to join the mew mews, and Lettuce sympathized her. She, Pudding, and Ichigo later visited Mint's mansion to hang out with her in hopes of cheering her up, but Mint did not want to do this. However, after Pudding got them all wet by activating the sprinklers, Mint's brother Seiji made her invite them in to dry off. Lettuce and the others ended up succeeding cheering Mint up and they all participated in a pillow fight.

RetaMint only has a small amount of support in the Tokyo Mew Mew fandom and is considered to be a rare-pair. It is greatly overshadowed by the semi-canon ZakuMint, and while femslash pairings involving Lettuce are uncommon, RetaIchi is more popular. This may be due to the fact that the two have very little interaction between just the two of them. While a tag exists for the pairing on AO3, there are currently no works for the pairing, but there is fan art of them on Tumblr. RetaMint rivals the ZakuMint, IchiMint, IchiReta, RetaPai, and RetaRyo pairings.
