“Thank you for rescuing me, Corrin. I owe you my life. No one's ever been willing to sacrifice themselves for me before. I owe you my life. All of it. every hour, every day until the end.”
— Rhajat, Fire Emblem Fates

Rhajrrin is the non-binary ship between Corrin and Rhajat from the Fire Emblem fandom.

Canon[]

Rhajat is the daughter of Hayato, a member of Corrin's army. Like the other children of Fates, Rhajat was placed in the Deeprealms for her protection, resulting on her accelerated aging. When Rhajat was a younger, she nearly fell off a cliff, only to be saved by Corrin who was visiting her Deeprealm at the time. This became a turning point in her life personality wise. After that, she falls in love with Corrin and becomes somewhat obsessed with them, regardless of their gender.

In the original script, Rhajat actually has different support conversations with Corrin depending if they are male or female, however only the Male support conversations were translated and used for both in the English release of Fates. In Male Corrin's conversations, Rhajat is often caught stalking/following Corrin around the castle. Corrin soon becomes to used to Rhajat's presence that he's able to easily tell when she is nearby. Rhajat later tells Corrin she intends to stop following him around as it must bother him, and she doesn't want burden someone she looks up to. Corrin then admits that he grown to like Rhajat always being around doesn't know what he'd do without her constantly around him. He then proposes, and the two marry.

In Female Corrin's conversations, Rhajat is still caught stalking/following Corrin around; however, Corrin suggests they go to a tea party with a group of other women so that Rhajat can have other friends and interests. Rhajat agrees to attend, but is uncomfortable and unable to connect with others due to her interests in curses and other dark matters. Corrin apologies and tells Rhajat that she shouldn't change just to fit in with others and goes to on admit she's fallen for Rhajat. She then proposes, and the two marry.

In her death quote, Rhajat reveals that she sees herself and Corrin's reincarnation in a distant future, in a desert, referencing Tharja, who was obsessed with Corrin's future reincarnation, Robin, in Awakening. If Corrin's gender is male, they will have a daughter, named Kana. If Corrin is female, they will stay childless, but Rhajat states that she sees the creatures that she summons as her children. They will also adopt a pair of orphans in "Revelation."

Fanon[]

Rhajat and Female Corrin are the first female characters in the series that can canonically marry each other. While fans were happy with the Fire Emblem series allowing same-sex marriage, there was some frustration that Rhajat was locked to the "Birthright" and "Revelation" paths of Fates, as well as being a child unit - meaning that she can only join your army once Hayato has an S-support with someone and goes on to father Rhajat. Additionally, Rhajat's unique supports with Female Corrin were replaced with the Male Corrin supports in the English translation, which many fans disliked. Also, due to the game's mechanics, it is actively detrimental to the player to pair them, as they will not be able to recruit Kana.

Curiously, Female Corrin can also be Rhajat's mother in different timelines if she marries Hayato.
