RiMick is the friendship between Riku and Mickey Mouse from the Kingdom Hearts fandom.

Riku meets Mickey when the two find themselves at the door to Kingdom Hearts. They choose to seal themselves in it to keep the darkness from escaping, even if it means trapping themselves in the Realm of Darknes, with no way of knowing how to return to the Realm of Light. Sora, Goofy, and Donald witness this moment, and try to rescue their friends to no avail.
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories[]
Knowing that Riku is struggling with his inner darkness, a man named DiZ approaches Mickey with the offer to help Riku with it. In order for this to happen, however, Mickey must be separated from Riku for the first part of Riku's journey in the basement of Castle Oblivion. He must face his past and the darkness still inside of him, before the two can regroup with one another. Although Mickey isn't able to fully phase back into the Realm of Light, he still helps Riku battle his inner darkness by serving as Riku's inner light through the form of an orb of light. This allows Mickey to aid Riku as heal cards during battles. Knowing that Mickey is with him provides Riku with a sense of comfort, as he continues his way around the castle.
With help from the mysterious DiZ, Mickey is able to leave the Realm of Darkness and catch up to Riku in the castle. He arrives just in time to save Riku when Ansem tries to take control of Riku's body again. Riku is happy to see Mickey in person and to know that he is no longer trapped in the Realm of Darkness.
When it is finally time for Riku to face Ansem, he is worried that Ansem will try to control him again in the future. He tries to ask Mickey to destroy him if it ever comes to that. Mickey, however, doesn't let Riku propose this request to him, as he is determined to save Riku. This gives Riku hope, as Mickey insists on coming to Riku's rescue should Ansem ever mange to break free after their battle. Now as friends, Mickey offers to join Riku on his journey on the road to dawn. Mickey also asks Riku to call him "Mickey" rather than "his majesty." To help them stay off Organization XIII's radar, DiZ gives the two the same black coats that they wear.

Fanon[]
Some like to think of Mickey's relationship with Riku as they equivalent of Sora's relationship with Donald and Goofy. They have formed similar bonds, and Riku is an original Kingdom Hearts character, much like Sora, while Mickey is part of Disney's Sensational Six alongside Donald and Goofy. RiMick fans love the moments that were shown between them in Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts 3, as they were what helped the friendship to gain a decent amount of supporters.
Mickey being much older than Riku and with little known about Riku's family, some like to present Mickey as a father-like figure to Riku. Some fanfics even have Mickey offering to adopt Riku. There have even been a rare few who have slash shipped them, although it is not a very common dynamic. It has often been frowned upon by fans, due to the height difference, age difference and the fact that they are separate species.
