Rodger & Toodles is the family ship between Rodger and Toodles from the Dandy's World fandom.
Canon[]
Rodger and Toodles are both playable characters in Dandy's World. Rodger and Toodles can interact with each other in the elevator if there are two players playing as them. Currently, they have only two interactions. Both Rodger and Toodles were available when Dandy's World first released. Rodger's passive is to gain twice the amount of Research from Capsules and encountering Twisteds while Toodles' ability is to roll for a 15% boost of a random Stat that lasts for 10 seconds. Rodger is a brown magnifying glass while Toodles is an 8 ball. Rodger is curious and often tries to find out the truth, while Toodles is often seen trying to help out other toons, including the older figure. Toodles is often trying to help Rodger in his cases but he keeps denying her offer, often saying that she can help him next time.
In their first interaction, Toodles wants to join Rodger on his next case. Rodger denies instantly, saying maybe “the next, next one,” which clearly frustrates Toodles because this has happened many times before ("a bajillion times now"). In their second interaction, Toodles asks Rodger to tell her about his latest cases, which likely involve something intriguing such as detective work, legal matters, or investigative adventures. Rodger replies that he is unsure about that but Toodles still insists. Rodger is hesitant to share right now and asks Toodles to wait until they’re done with the run.
It is also common that either Toodles or Rodger mention each other in other dialogues with other toons. Tisha tells Toodles that Rodger doesn't take her on their adventures for her safety, while Vee wonders what he teaches her in their free time. On the other hand, Eggson actually asks Rodger about Toodles and tells him to do his best when looking out for her.
In a poster seen in-game called "Lights Out Investigation", Rodger is seen with a flashlight while also holding Toodles' hand, who looks scared. Astro can also be seen watching them from the sky in the background.

Rodger & Toodles is a very popular ship within the fandom. Many people view Rodger as Toodles' dad, as the two have a family-like bond in the game. Many fans also enjoy how often Toodles mentions Rodger in some interactions with other toons. People like to headcanon either Rodger and Teagan as Toodles' parents, or Rodger and Glisten taking care of Toodles together. Additionally, with Rodger and Teagan being shipped together, sometimes people like to have Glisten act as an older brother to Toodles. The Found Family trope is popular with the two of them because they usually end up becoming like an actual family due to the hardships they endure, and Rodger ends up seeing Toodles as his daughter.
It is common in fan content to see Toodles trying to help out Rodger in his detective work, even though the older tries to not let her get too far for her safety. This results in a lot of fan content having angst because of Toodles disagreeing with Rodger on why she can't help him out, and Rodger trying to not say too much on why. A lot of fan content also like to show Rodger finally letting Toodles help him out, though this usually comes at the cost of something bad happening to either of them. Due to this, fan content like to depict the two being seperated from each other either as one of them becomes Twisted earlier than the other or something else happens.
Even though they're very popular as Father and Daughter, it's not uncommon to find fans that ship them romantically. It's debatable whether romantic shippers are unaware of Toodles' age or they just do it for fun. However, this viewing of the ship is heavily frowned upon in the community.
