Ron Weasley is a character from the Harry Potter fandom.

Ronald Bilius "Ron" Weasley (born March 1, 1980) was a pure-blood wizard, the sixth son of Arthur Weasley and Molly Weasley (née Prewett). He was also the younger brother of Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred and George, and the older brother of Ginny. Ron and his brothers and sister lived in The Burrow, where Harry and Hermione often stayed. Ron began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1991 and was sorted into Gryffindor house. He soon became best friends with fellow student Harry Potter and later Hermione Granger.

When Ron first met Hermione on the Hogwarts Express at the beginning of their first year, he found her annoying because she "showed off" and regularly recited the school rules. However, after an incident involving a troll in the bathrooms on Halloween, Hermione became close friends with Ron and Harry. Despite this, Ron and Hermione had a continued tendency to bicker.
Ron first began to show signs of romantic interest in Hermione in their second year; he was irritated by her crush on Professor Gilderoy Lockhart, became so angry when Draco Malfoy called her a "Mudblood" that he tried to hex him, and was even more upset than Harry when she was one of the Basilisk's victims. In their third year, Ron and Hermione had their first real fight when Ron accused Hermione's cat, Crookshanks, of eating his pet rat, Scabbers, which had gone missing.
In their fourth year, Ron and Hermione's romantic feelings for each other began to grow and become more obvious. Hermione was jealous of Ron's crush on Fleur Delacour, the Beauxbatons Veela Champion, and Ron was jealous of Viktor Krum, with whom Hermione went to the Yule Ball after Ron failed to ask Hermione in time. Hermione's frustration at Ron's failure to recognize and act on his feelings grew. In their fifth year, Hermione once comments that Ron has "the emotional range of a teaspoon". Ron is visibly affected when Hermione kisses him on the cheek before his first Quidditch match, and is annoyed that Hermione is corresponding with Viktor Krum.
In their sixth year, Ron's jealousy towards Hermione caused him to begin a superficial relationship with Lavender Brown. Hurt and angry, Hermione summoned a flock of canaries to attack Ron, after which the two did not speak for months. When Ron was accidentally poisoned with mead on his birthday, Hermione forgot her anger in her concern for him and stayed by his side until he recovered. His romance with Lavender quickly ended when Lavender saw Ron and Hermione coming down from the boys' dormitory together, while Harry was with them under his Invisibility Cloak. At the end of the year, their mutual affection was evident when Ron gently comforted Hermione as she cried on his shoulder at Dumbledore's funeral. The two became much closer, though according to Harry they were only "sort of" together. They danced together at Bill and Fleur's wedding, where Ron also showed his continuing jealous dislike of Viktor Krum, who was a guest. During the search for the Horcruxes with Harry, Ron comforted Hermione several times by putting his arm around her, and the two were generally friendly to each other; Harry even suspected that they had fallen asleep holding hands in Grimmauld Place, after waking up to find their hands were barely an inch apart.
When Ron temporarily left his friends during the search for the Horcruxes, Hermione cried for him for weeks. Ron was eventually able to return by hearing Hermione's voice saying his name through his Deluminator. When Ron destroyed the locket Horcrux, it taunted him with visions of his greatest fears, one of which was that Hermione preferred Harry to him. During the Battle of Hogwarts, Hermione was touched when Ron expressed concern for the castle's house-elves, whom she had always worried about, and initiated a kiss, to which Ron responded very enthusiastically.
Sometime after the end of the Second Wizarding War, they married and had two children named Rose and Hugo.

Hugo Granger-Weasley
Hugo Granger-Weasley (born sometime after August 2006) was a half-blood wizard and the child of Ronald and Hermione Weasley (née Granger). He has an older sister named Rose, who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as of the 2017-2018 school year.
In 2017, he accompanied his parents to see his sister and Potter cousins off to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Hugo and Lily shared an eagerness to go to Hogwarts, even though they were both too young. At King's Cross Station, the two had "an animated discussion about which house they would be sorted into when they finally went to Hogwarts.
Rose Granger-Weasley
Rose "Rosie" Granger-Weasley (born c. 2006) was a half-blood witch and the daughter of Ronald Weasley and Hermione Weasley (née Granger). She had a younger brother named Hugo, who was born about two years after her. She began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 2017, at the same time as Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy.
Rose is said to have inherited her mother's intelligence. It is also noted that she puts on her robes before they are needed, as her mother did at her age. If her father's encouragement to beat Scorpius Malfoy academically has any effect, she may also turn out to be quite competitive and academically brilliant like her mother. She seems to be quite close to her cousin Albus, Harry and Ginny's son, who is about the same age and who shared her anxiety about where he would be sorted at school. When she arrived at King's Cross Station for their first year, Albus was "immensely relieved" to see her, and Rose beamed at him.
Panju Weasley
Panju Weasley is the son of Ronald Weasley and Padma Patil in an alternate timeline where Albus and Scorpius disarmed Cedric Diggory in the first task of the Triwizard Tournament. In this timeline, Hermione never dated Viktor Krum, which in turn never caused the jealousy that led to Ron and Hermione falling in love. Panju doesn't exist in the normal timeline.
