Ronniecoln is the het ship between Lincoln Loud and Ronnie Anne Santiago from The Loud House and The Casagrandes fandoms.
Canon[]
The first episode of the show that featured this relationship was Heavy Meddle, in which Lincoln's sisters found out he was being bullied. They were determined to find a guy whom they believed was the bully and teach him a lesson, but upon hearing that the bully was a girl, they became ecstatic and told him that it meant she had a crush on Lincoln. When his sisters told him to kiss her she punches him in the eye, which made him upset. After that, the girl gave him a steak for his eye by tossing it through his bedroom window. She also gave him her phone number, introducing herself as Ronnie Anne.
The first episode to feature them both onscreen was Save the Date. After being teased by other boys at school for having a girlfriend, Lincoln says mean and nasty things about her, which hurts Ronnie Anne's feelings. Upon arriving at home, Lincoln finds out from a heartbroken and furious Lori—whose boyfriend Bobby happens to be Ronnie Anne's older brother—that they are going on a double date with them. Despite Lincoln and Ronnie Anne getting off to a rough start on the date, they end up having a nice conversation and encourage their older siblings to rekindle. However, Lincoln starts hiding again when the boys from before show up, and upon being exposed, he once again denies Ronnie Anne being his girlfriend using the same harsh words as before, upsetting her and Bobby all over again. But this time, Lincoln kissed her other on the lips. Upon meeting at school the next day, Ronnie Anne berated him in front of the guys with the same harsh words and supposedly broke up with him—which was revealed to be a ruse to get him to stop being teased.
On April Fool's Day, Lincoln was determined to rid his house of pranks when he found out she was coming over. When Ronnie Anne showed up in Lincoln’s house, it turns out that Luan asked her to come as part of her prank on him. However, Ronnie Anne was touched how Lincoln would go so far as to purposely get pranked to protect her, so she pranked Luan with the intended one for Lincoln and went with him to get a milkshake.
When Lincoln thought Ronnie Anne was going to ask her for the dance, they went to the arcade.
Ever since Ronnie Anne moved in with her extended family, the Casagrandes, she and Lincoln have far less time together onscreen. They often keep in touch with each other over video chat, but there are a few episodes in which Lincoln visits her in her new hometown. In general, Ronnie Anne’s family and Lincoln’s sisters love to see them interface together. Their families always view them as a couple, though they instantly deny it.
In "Dance Dance Resolution", Lincoln ducks from Ronnie Anne to ensure she doesn't ask him to the Sadie Hawkins Dance, not because he doesn't like her, but rather because he wanted to go to the arcade instead. When Luan, Lucy, Lynn, and Luna each get him a date to the dance, and he sees Ronnie Anne is at the dance as well, he tries to avoid her because he feels he will hurt her feelings if she finds out he went to the dance without her. When she finds him, she states that she actually never wanted to ask him to the dance but rather to go to the arcade with her. Upon learning he was avoiding her all day, she forgives him, she admitting she would've done the same if he were to ask her to a dance. The two are then seen together at the arcade, playing Dance Battle.
In "Shell Shock", Mrs. Johnson assigns Lincoln and Ronnie Anne to take care of an egg as a school project. Lincoln is afraid that Ronnie Anne is too reckless to take care of an egg so he tries to not let her take it. When Ronnie Anne says she's going to take the egg home at the end of the day, Lincoln makes a complete replica of the egg from rubber cement and gives it to her. She is surprised by his sudden change in attitude. However, Lincoln soon finds that he actually gave Ronnie Anne the real egg instead of the fake egg, so he goes to her house, telling her he just wanted to see the egg. Just after Lincoln switches the eggs, he notices that Ronnie Anne is a really thoughtful and helpful person at her house. Realizing that Ronnie Anne is not as reckless as he thought, Lincoln decides to put the real egg back, but Ronnie Anne catches him trying to replace the eggs and is furious when he tells her he didn't think he could trust her to take care of something so fragile. During this, Lincoln himself accidentally causes the real egg to fall and break. Heartbroken at the fact that they're going to flunk the assignment, and at how Lincoln perceives her, Ronnie Anne tells Lincoln to leave her house. Sometime later, Lincoln comes back to the Santiago house with a replacement egg. He explains that he talked with Mrs. Johnson to give Ronnie Anne a second chance on the assignment, because he learned that she's not as bad as he thought. The teacher agreed, but they won't be rewarded with the big waffle breakfast, but Lincoln says he no longer cares about that, just as long as he and Ronnie Anne can get the assignment done. Ronnie Anne, grateful for what Lincoln did, invites him inside, since they're having waffles for breakfast. Then Ronnie Anne tricks Lincoln into thinking she's going to break the replacement egg as revenge.
In "The Loudest Mission: Relative Chaos", he and Ronnie Anne helped each other in separating Lori and Bobby overreacting on the Santiagos leaving Royal Woods to visit their grandparents. Lincoln wished Ronnie Anne a nice time with her big family. After a while, Ronnie Anne called Lincoln on her laptop after her mother announced that they're staying, and told him she feels unhappy with her big family. Lincoln decided to help her because he fully understood her situation, since he himself also lives in big family (in his case, a large immediate family). After getting to know the Casagrandes better, Lincoln tried to convince Ronnie Anne to stay with them. Ronnie Anne hugged Lincoln for a farewell, but told him to not get used to the hug. To help her survive living in a large family, Lincoln advised her to speak to the audience.
In "City Slickers", he and Lori pay a visit to the Casagrandes' bodega and gives Ronnie Anne a yellow Royal Woods sweatshirt. As they hang out with her friends Nikki, Sameer and Casey, Ronnie Anne continuously tries to stop Lincoln from mentioning anything about her being from Royal Woods, eventually leading the two to have an argument and he decides to pack up and return home. Realizing her mistake, Ronnie Anne catches up to Lincoln and admits she thought her friends would want to hang out with her if they believed she was a city kid. He then tells her that if they are her friends, they will accept her for who she is rather than where she's from. After explaining where she's really from to her friends, it turns out that they don't care that she's from Royal Woods and still accept her as their friend.
In "The Spies Who Loved Me" and "Friended!", they contact each other on video chat to discuss what they're doing.
In "Don't You Fore-get About Me", she and Lincoln made a skating video while the others are busy in exploring Fairway University.
In "The Horror-Scope", after getting a prediction by Ernesto Estrella that she will find love, Lincoln calls to inform her that he's coming for another visit. As they hang out, Ronnie Anne begins to think Lincoln is showing signs of affection towards her and asks Sid to tag along with them as her wingman and kill the vibe, but she leaves them after spotting the bird she was hunting. Her fear grows as they're having pizza together and Lincoln changes into a tuxedo and leaves. Arriving back to the apartment, her anxiety reaches a critical level when Lincoln suddenly presents a wedding ring on one knee, but it turns out that Lincoln was actually preparing himself for a magic trick involving interlocking wedding rings. This revelation throws Ronnie Anne completely off, but relieved that they're still just friends, for now.
In "An Udder Mess", Ronnie Anne just won two Dairyland tickets, but has to choose between her two best friends, Sid and Lincoln. Ronnie Anne doesn't want to choose between Sid and Lincoln, so she gives them the tickets and sneaks in as Tippy the Cow. When Sid and Lincoln find out that Ronnie Anne is in the cow costume, about to be fired from a canon, they save her. When Ronnie Anne comes clean to, Sid assures Ronnie Anne that she and Lincoln would have understood if she chose one of them.
In "Prankaversary", the two have their "prankaversary prank battle war". However, neither of them wins due to Sid pranking them both.
In "Phantom Freakout", Lincoln and Clyde help Ronnie Anne and Sid with their ghost problem.
In "Crashed Course", she is revealed to have continued pranking him through the mail, such as sending him smelly diapers on his birthday, eggs for Christmas, Sergio, and expired ketchup.
thumb In "Forks and Knives Out", they compete with each other alongside Lynn Loud Sr. and Rosa Casagrande on Kitchen Combat, hosted by Guy Grazer. However, their competing gets out of hand and jeopardizes their friendship, and they all mutually agree to drop out of the competition.
In "Great Lakes Freakout!", she and her family try to win a Halloween contest to see who can create a scarier store hosted by Ernesto Estrella so Lincoln and his sisters (including Boris) pitch in to help the Casagrandes.
In "Dread of the Class", Lincoln helps Ronnie Anne try to prank Luan to earn her pranking academy diploma.
In Living Loud: Surprise Party, Lincoln helps Ronnie Anne, alongside Bobby and Clyde, prepare for Lori's birthday party.
Lincoln & Ronnie Anne's VLOG is a series of vlogs between the two of them, hence the name.
In "Live Life Loud!", she calls him for help when Carlitos goes missing.
In "There Will Be Chaos", Ronnie Anne phones Lincoln, who tries to prevent his sisters from listening.
In "Livin' La Casa Loud!", Lincoln and Ronnie Anne play in the Casagrande Market during a rainstorm and prank Lori and Bobby during a trip to the zoo.
In "The Case of the Stolen Drawers", they go to a convention at the retirement home, along with Rosa, Sergio, and Clyde.
The graphic novels We're All Familia and Love Out Loud seem to depict their relationship in a different light, with the romantic implications between the two increasing; this is similar to their interactions throughout earlier episodes. In the former's "For a Few Tickets More", Ronnie Anne blushes when confronted about the meaning behind Lincoln's gift, and in the latter's "Friendiversary", both friends blush throughout.
In The Casagrandes Movie, Ronnie Anne has a playlist on her phone labeled "Ronniecoln", connected to her relationship with Lincoln. In graphic novel Howling Good Time Ronnie Anne makes a romantic arm gesture on the back of her head, while Lincoln blushes while talking to Ronnie Anne on the phone.
