Rosamus is the femslash ship between Rosalina and Samus Aran from the Super Smash Bros. fandom.
Canon[]
Samus and Rosalina are both blonde, young-looking women. Both are space travellers, who have a spaceship as a closest thing to a home. Both of them started as completely human, but then influence of an alien species started altering their physiology. Despite this, both of them still look perfectly human, though Samus is far stronger than the average person while Rosalina glides and floats instead of walking. Both are also very tall.
Both were adopted by the aliens that gave them their powers, Samus was adopted by the Chozo after Ridley killed her parents, Rosalina was adopted by the Lumas after getting lost in space. In turn, Samus adopted a friendly Metroid after it hatched and imprinted on her, while Rosalina became something of a mother figure to the Lumas after she grew up. Both wear similar shades of cyan, with Rosalina's being her usual dress, while Samus' is her Zero Suit.
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS[]
In a Solo Event, "A Situation of Some Gravity", the player controls Zero Suit Samus while fighting Rosalina & Luma. The fight is made more difficult due to Samus being affected by high gravity.
In a Co-Op Event, "Peach in Peril", Rosalina and Zero Suit Samus work together to protect Peach from Bowser and Bowser Jr. They fail if Peach gets K.O.d or if Bowser succeeds in defeating all of them but not Peach.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[]
In Rosalina's Classic Mode "One Star after Another", Samus is her third opponent. She is fought on Brinstar.

Rosamus is a fairly popular ship in the Smash Bros community, largely because of their many similarities. Many feel that Rosalina could deeply relate to Samus' traumatic experiences and help her overcome them. Many like to believe that Samus' eyes would open to the true beauty of space after meeting Rosalina. Many also like the contrast between the stoic, strong Samus and the maternal Rosalina.
Due to the nature of the fanbase, the ship is far more often paired with SamuPika than Metroid Mama.
It is Rosalina's most popular ship for Smash Bros, but just one of many Samus ships.
