New Teen Titans[]
Cassie defeats a runaway bull when the Teen Titans arrive. She's relieved to see Cyborg and Tim asks her to come back to the Titans. Cassie says no, and Tim is about to continue when Rose interrupts. She points out that they've asked her to join before and she's said no then to. She then tells him not to start begging since Cassie's not worth it and points her sword in Cassie's face. Cassie tells her to get the sword away, but Rose just teasingly waves it in front of her. Cassie then knocks Rose aside and tells her to stay away from her.
Later, there is a break in at Titans Tower, which is revealed to be Cassie. Rose says she's got it and starts attacking Cassie till they break a wall in the next room. Rose taunts her on where she got the jeans an t-shirt look from, while Cassie asks how well she'll swing her sword when she takes out her other eye. Victor breaks them up, but Rose says that Cassie is trespassing. Cassie says she has more of a right to be there than Rose, but Rose says that Cassie was the one that didn't want to be there.
Later, when they're with the Doom Patrol, Gar calls his team a family, which Cassie is more than she can say about the Titans. Rose whispers "what the hell do you know" and Cassie asks if she has anything to say. Rose says she does, specifically to see if Eddie's okay. As they tour the strange mansion, Cassie says that she can't really understand how the Doom Patrol can live the way they do. Rose says it's because they're insane, and Cassie says that Rose is being hypocritical given what she did to her eye for Slade. Rose says that was temporary insanity.

RoseCassie is one of the more popular pairings for both characters. Although it is not a very big pairing in the DC Comics fandom overall. This is due to Cassie and Rose not having many interactions since the end of the 2003 Teen Titans run. As after it was over the main DC universe got rebooted and the two haven't interacted since. The appeal of the ship does come from their hostility towards each other. Which many fans of the ship read as sexual tension, or the two being unable to accept that they found each other attractive.
On AO3, RoseCassie is the fourth most written ship for Rose and the sixth most written for Cassie.
