Canon[]
Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade & The Blazing Blade[]
It is possible for Lyn to be Roy's mother as she can marry Roy's future father, Eliwood. Lyn can also be Roy's mother-in-law under certain conditions i.e. Lyn marries Hector/Rath in Blazing Blade, and then the player has Roy marry Lilina/Sue, respectively in The Binding Blade.
If in Eliwood mode Eliwood and Lyn share an A support they will talk to the tactician in the epilogue. They announce to the tactician that they will marry soon and ask them to give a name for their first born child.
Fire Emblem Heroes[]
Brave Heroes[]
Lyn, Roy, and the other winners of the first Choose Your Legends voting event (Lucina and Ike) all had the same dream about countless of people calling their name. They were later all summoned in Askr as Brave Heroes. They are forced to make a contract with Embla and fight the summoner's army, their defeat put an end to their contract.
Love Abounds[]
In the Love Abounds event Lyn, Hector and Eliwood from their youth are summoned alongside Roy and Lilina who are teenagers. They all participate to the Day of Devotion festival. They fight together against the summoner's army in the festival's tournament.
A Day in the Life[]
In a page introducing the Resplendent Heroes, Roy is seen alongside Ewan and Lugh admiring Resplendent Lyn. Funnily enough, in the game, Roy got a Resplendent outfit that matches Lyn's (both outfit are based on the kingdom of Nifl), then heir Brave versions were also based on the same kingdom (this time Muspell).
Fire Emblem Engage[]
Fire Emblem Engage takes place in the continent of Elyos. In this land some heroes from the previous titles are present as Emblems. An Emblem is a spirit based an a hero that is bound to a ring or a bracelet. The Emblem have the memories of the person they are based on. Lyn and Roy are both present as Emblems. We don't have many information about the relationship between those Roy and Lyn, but in the ending picture of Alear and all the Emblems, they are seen close to each other.
Super Smash Bros[]
Roy and Lyn both appear in the Super Smash Bros series. Roy first appeared as a fighter in Super Smash Bros Melee, while Lyn was introduced as an Assist Trophy in Super Smash Bros Brawl; however Roy didn't return as a fighter in this title, but is present as a Sticker and so is Lyn. They both appear as fighter and Assist Trophy respectively in Super Smash Bros. 4 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Roy can summon Lyn to help him on the battlefield, to attack his opponents with her sword; however, Lyn can also be summoned against Roy.
Fanon[]
RoyLyn is a quite rare famillyship, facing competition from other ships such as Roynian and Royora on Roy's side, and Lililyn and SueLyn on Lyn's side. It does go hand-in with Elilyn.
Fanworks that depict Lyn and Roy meeting in Crossovers (like in the Smash Bros games or Heroes) often depict Lyn as protective of Roy.
