The Power of Two[]
As the contestants are gathered around the hotel, Two learns that they are wanting to know about the hotel's new chefs. Inside, Rubber Spatula and Discy are seen walking with food they bought from the new chefs, Four and X.
After escaping the hotel, Rubber Spatula and Discy, along with most of the rest of the failed debuters, end up glued to the hotel roof. The two are caught by surprise when PDA is revealed to have been unstuck from the roof. This prompts Rubber Spatula to get the idea of having PDA get adhesive remover, with Discy reminding PDA of their built-in microphone when asked about communication. As PDA walks down the stairs and pretends to be heading to Robot Flower's shop, Rubber Spatula and Discy are unfazed by their lie when they catch PDA by their rooms. In the hotel, Rubber Spatula's and Discy's rooms are next to each other. PDA quickly realizes that they are right by Rubber Spatula's room and decides to go through his belongings, angering Rubber Spatula. Discy laughs when PDA comes out having "cleaned" Rubber Spatula's room, prompting Rubber Spatula to question why Discy's laughing when PDA is going into his room next. Discy is quickly frustrated by this and fails to get PDA to leave his room. Later when PDA is in Conch Shell's room, Rubber Spatula and Discy urge PDA to remember their plan and head downstairs already. After PDA talks back against doing the plan, they suddenly get knocked out and the two are left to wait for PDA to respond. Later on, PDA returns to the hotel roof and reveals that they have made a catapult using items that they took from their rooms to take down Two, only to end up being glued onto the room with them when this fails. Rubber Spatula calls out PDA for sabotaging their plan and Discy is unfazed when PDA angrily reacts towards this.
While the debuters try to get Anchor up after falling through the floor of Gelatin's Steakhouse, Discy watches below as Rubber Spatula holds the cord for them to climb down on. After being told for more rope, Rubber Spatula tugs on it and ends up causing it to snap, causing Discy to fall into the hole among those holding onto the cord.

Rubberdisc is a rarepair in the Battle for Dream Island fandom. The ship is among those involving the failed debuters of the show, which are considerably less popular in general. In shipping within them, the two are often considered because of their more frequent interactions compared to most, especially within the later episodes of the fifth season. The pairing is often appreciated as a rarepair within the subsection of fans of the debuters, notably with ship art on DeviantArt of the two. It is rivaled by pairings such as PDASpat and DiscShell.
