An Ode for the Pure of Heart[]
Tsukasa was hired to be an extra at a wedding but was replaced by Touya, and Tsukasa asked Rui to take a look since Touya doesn't have much acting experience. When Rui arrived, Touya told him that the show was going to be canceled because there is no director, so Rui decided to take over as director.
When Rui silenced other extras who were complaining about him by telling them that the show will start in a few hours, Touya was impressed with Rui. Touya then asked Rui if he had something in mind, and Rui instead asked him if he thought something was missing in the play. Touya told him that the groom proposing to the bride so suddenly would scare the guests, and Rui agreed. Rui asked Touya how he thinks the guests would react when they found out that it was all an act, and Touya replied that they would be relieved, but Rui added that some would be disappointed and lose interest, so he wanted to give a solution to that. Rui came up with the idea of having three people stand in the way of the wedding so that it would be surreal and people would be relieved, while Touya thought how smart his decision was. When Rui asked the extras what each one is good at and Touya said to sing, Rui decided that Touya would be the one to propose to the bride.
When Rui was looking for someone to volunteer to sing and dance, Touya called Akito and told him about how worried Rui was about the play being successful so that he wouldn't leave. During the rehearsal, Touya admired how he directed the other extras, wondering if that was the real Rui. Later, Rui had a conversation with Touya about how his ideas and stubbornness made him always end up alone, like now that many of the cast members ended up leaving him because of how strict Rui was being with them. Touya replied that he understands his way of thinking, since there is a member of his family who says that if there is something you really love, you have to do whatever it takes for it. Touya also told him that there are some things we are not willing to give up, such as overcoming a legendary event (RAD WEEKEND) in his case, to which Rui replied that this act will become a "legendary event" as well. Before the show started, Rui encouraged Touya by telling him that those who have the most fun are the winners.
While performing, Touya was disoriented, and Rui advised him to imagine that what he wants the most is in front of him but someone is going to take it away, and the only way to get it back is by singing. Thanks to that, Touya sang with all his might while asking the bride to choose him.
The next day, Rui thanked touya for his effort yesterday and told him that he had even given him ideas for a new show. Touya commented that it would be nice for the two of them to help each other achieve their dreams one day, and Rui told him that even though he only majored in drama, he wouldn't hesitate to help him get through RAD WEEKEND by making the event the best it can be. After Rui caused an explosion that sent petals falling all over the school, Touya finally understood that Rui's motivation for everything he does is to make people smile, motivating Touya to organize an event that will cheer people up as much as the wedding.
