Rustyanchor is the slash ship between Rusty Coin and Anchor from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.

Fish and Chips[]
Ruby sees Rusty Coin and Anchor in the distance and suspect them to be involved with Woody's sudden disappearance. Fries and Ruby try to lip read what Rusty is saying but only make out the word hats multiple times. As Ruby wonders what they're talking about, Rusty is revealed to indeed be saying hats over and over. When he finishes, Rusty says he fulfilled his and Anchor's agreement that he would say hats 400 times, Anchor calling it fun for both of them. Anchor and Rusty Coin inform Fries and Ruby about a fish monster, nicknamed Chompy, roaming around a nearby lake and believed by some to be an urban legend. When Ruby and Fries get the idea to find Chompy together, Rusty wonders when they have ever been a duo and asks if anyone cares about them. Fries points out how he could easily say the same about him and Anchor, saddening the both of them.
After Fries and Ruby get in a boat and set off to find Chompy, Rusty Coin and Anchor approach them in their own boat. Rusty warns them that he's been searching the lake for Chompy for five years. Anchor is irritated that Rusty is only focusing on himself rather than the team effort between the two and Rusty shushes him when Anchor points it out. As Rusty further explains how long the search was to him, Anchor again tries to state his fair share but is ignored by him. The two sail into a nearby fog away from Fries and Ruby.
After Fries and Ruby find Chompy, Fries worries that Anchor and Rusty want to hurt her if they find the fish. Ruby doesn't believe so but doesn't mind asking them to be sure. The two swim over to Rusty and Anchor and Fries asks what they would do if they find her. Anchor and Rusty without hesitation share that their idea is to kill and then eat her. Fries and Ruby are horrified and think of ideas to prevent the two from seeing Chompy when they get back on their boat.
Ruby and Fries overhear Anchor calling out for the fish in the distance. After hearing Rusty scold him for trying to get the fish's attention, Fries thinks that their dynamic is falling apart. Fries wants to plan a diversion while Ruby is busy saving Woody from Chompy. After the two brainstorm, Ruby tells Fries to distract them while she gets Woody out of her mouth. Anchor tells Rusty that he is upset that he is not getting credit for searching the lake alongside him. Rusty defends his position as having the sailing hat and tries putting the blame on Anchor when he calls him out for it. As Fries swims towards them, he notices their conflict and gets the idea to add fuel to the fire so they don't notice him and Ruby with the fish. Fries compliments Rusty's navigation of the lake and when Anchor asks for his opinion on how he's doing, Fries puts his efforts below Rusty's. As Fries swims back to his boat, Anchor is further frustrated by this. Rusty argues that it's because Fries recognizes his efforts and the two proclaim never to see each other again. They begin slapping each other as Fries tells Ruby he ended a multi-year friendship for their benefit.
Anchor informs Rusty that he owns the boat they're sailing in and as Rusty says he doesn't care, Anchor lifts him up. Telling him he should fly solo, he launches him away and is happy he stood up for himself. Rusty ends up hitting Chompy which frees Woody, along with Gelatin, Leafy, Lollipop, and Loser. When Gelatin is told to thank Rusty for saving him, Rusty points out how they wouldn't have been saved without Anchor since he threw Rusty into the fish. Gelatin calls them a good team, making Anchor apologize to Rusty for their conflict. The two, along with Fries and Ruby, decide to leave Chompy alone and Rusty thinks Anchor's "fish friend" nickname for Chompy is sweet. They walk off chanting hats repeatedly together.

The Fish and Chips short brought much attention to their dynamic. They, along with Fries and Ruby, were the two duos that were the main focus of the short and resulted in fans enjoying their friendship. Along with this, shippers of the two began posting appreciation posts of them, such as clips of their moments on TikTok and discussion of their ship on tier lists on Reddit. Fan art of Rusty Coin and Anchor came after the release of the short and became one of the most popular ships for both Rusty Coin and Anchor. There are not many rival ships that have as big of a following, the closest being Anchonch (Anchor x Conch Shell).
