Saioumota is the poly ship between Kokichi Oma, Shuichi Saihara and Kaito Momota from the Danganronpa fandom.
Canon[]
After the death of Kaede Akamatsu in chapter 1, Kaito is first seen to be aggressive towards Shuichi , as he punches him in the trial room when he was mourning Kaede's name. However, Kaito quickly apologize in the next chapter, and they become really close friends.
Becoming the new protagonist, Shuichi's support character is now Kaito, as he's seen supporting him in some investigation (like chapter 2), and in the trial rooms.
On Chapter 4, Kaito gets angry at Shuichi for trusting Kokichi in the trial, even though it's what led to their victory. They make up later, moments before Kokichi's plan start.
In one Free Time Event, Shuichi is shown to have a somewhat romantic thought about Kaito, but brush it off by saying he shouldn't think of another man like that.
While Kaito is Shuichi's support character, Kokichi is the antagonist of the game. Mostly in Free Time Events and Chapter 4, Kokichi is shown to be interested in Shuichi, and this feeling is somewhat mutual in Free Time Events. In chapter 4, Kokichi asks Shuichi to join and help him and leave Kaito behind. He calls Kaito stupid, making Shuichi mad. The protagonist then exit the virtual world they were in. Kokichi then have an inner dialogue about "being rejected", and saying that Shuichi is someone "he liked". In the Japanese Version of Danganronpa V3 though, this scene is seen as a confession, as Kokichi refers to Shuichi as the "man he fell in love with". In his last Free Time Event, Kokichi claims having stolen Shuichi's heart, making him constantly think about him.
Kokichi and Kaito are very much shown to be opposite, having different ideologies and fighting against the other to prove which one is better. Even though they're shown to be enemies (or rivals depending on how people see it) at first, finding out about Kokichi's plan and truth makes Kaito understand him better.
They become companions to stop the killing game in Chapter 5. Kokichi sacrifices himself and Kaito pretends to be him in the trial. The plan unfortunately fails, because Kaito feared hurting his friend if he continued. Even though canon doesn't make them seen to be friends, it's notable that they had mutual respect in the end, when they learned more about the other.

Both Saimota and Saiouma are really popular ships for the protagonist, Shuichi Saihara. Oumota is also a popular ship between Kokichi Oma and Kaito Momota, liked for being part of the Enemies to Lovers trope. Seeing how popular those three ships are, it is no surprise people started shipping them all together in the same ship. Shuichi and Kaito are close friends, with Shuichi having an implied crush on Kaito in the Free Time Events, Kokichi has an implied crush on Shuichi in the Free Time Events and The Salmon Mode, and Kokichi and Kaito are first seen as enemies, and then rivals. This ship also falls into the Protag/Support/Antag trope of the Danganronpa fandom, similarly to Komahinanami, Naegamigiri and Saioumatsu.
