SakiMichi is the femslash ship between Saki Hyuuga and Michiru Kiryuu from the Pretty Cure fandom.

Canon

Michiru was a denizen of Dark Fall who infiltrated Saki's school by disguising herself as a new transfer student along with her sister Kaoru to spy on Pretty Cure. Saki immediately greeted Michiru warmly and introduced herself to her. Later, in gym class, a classmate was impressed with Michiru's skill in volleyball and suggested that she join the team. Michiru coldly asked her not to tell her what to do and walked away. Saki followed Michiru and explained that she was just inviting her and complimenting her skill. Michiru was puzzled as to why Saki went through all that trouble to mediate someone else's disagreement and Saki revealed that it was because she wanted to be friends with the both of them.

Michiru's comrade Dorodoron later sought information from Michiru on Pretty Cure's weakness, and Michiru told him that Saki's confidence comes from her skill in softball. At one point later in time, Michiru hid Saki's softball glove to try and distract her so that she would miss her plans with Mai, but when she saw that did not drive them apart, she teleported the missing glove back to the locker room. When Saki was caught in a web being used by Dorodoron, Michiru secretly used a wind slash to cut her loose and rescue her.

Saki and Mai later learned about Michiru and Kaoru being members of Dark Fall, and they were forced to fight. Saki begged them not to fight and kept claiming that they were still friends but Michiru and Kaoru denied this and kept attacking them. However, after Pretty Cure withstood their attacks for long enough, Kaoru pulled Michiru back from attacking, and they agreed to stop fighting. Goyan then appeared and teleported all four of them to Dark Fall where they stood in front of Akudaikan. Michiru and Kaoru tried to convince Akudaikan to stop trying to kill Pretty Cure and when that did not work, they seemingly sacrificed themselves so that they could escape. Saki was distraught and cried over Michiru's supposed death.

Michiru was kept in stasis until Princess Filia managed to revive her. She and Kaoru then returned to the Land of Greenery to help Saki and Mai in battle. Michiru was warned that she might disappear when Dark Fall is defeated, and she tried to hide this from Saki, but when Saki knew that something was wrong and asked her what it was, she told her. Saki was unfazed and said with confidence that they would find a way. During the final battle against Goyan, Michiru inherited Saki's Cure Bright form while Saki changed to her Cure Bloom form. Michiru started to disappear after Goyan was defeated, and Saki started to cry, but the spirits of the Land of Greenery ended up saving her.

Saki and Michiru's friendship continued into the future. Saki brought Michiru to her families bakery and taught her how to bake, as Michiru had revealed that was her goal during the final battle. At one of Saki's softball games, Michiru brought a treat she made in the shape of Saki's head.

Fanon

SakiMichi has a small amount of popularity in the Futari wa Pretty Cure Splash☆Star fandom. It is not as popular as other pairings such as SakiMai but it still has a small following. The Kiryuu Sisters, Michiru and Kaoru, are considered to be spiritual successors of Kiriya from the original series. As such, SakiMichi and MaiKao are considered to be the spiritual successors of the KiriHono pairing, and are especially popular among the KiriHono shippers. AO3 currently only has four works for the pairing. SakiMichi is a companion ship to MaiKao and rivals the SakiMai, KazuSaki, and KentaSaki pairings.
