Samzi is the het ship between Sam and Uzi Doorman from the Murder Drones fandom.
Canon[]
Sam is one of the students at the Worker Drone colony to be dragged into a camp field trip along with Uzi. As he is seen interacting with his friends, he witnesses Rebecca's desperate attempt to crawl to warn the others about Uzi's sudden transformation. In her attempts to explain her, Sam, along with others, failed to recognize her, even through a detailed description. However, the campers soon recognize the eldritch Uzi as she appears silently in the distance. After her successful murder on Braidon, Sam panics and shouts that everyone should split up. He is then seen sprinting desperately through the forest to escape, only for it to be in vain, as Uzi murders the male teen worker and presumably devours him.
Before the events of Cabin Fever, the two have never been seen interacting with the other, explaining why Sam couldn't remember the latter through description or name. To label similarities in between them is close to nothing, but there are contrasting traits that bring forth the "Opposites Attract" trope. An example is Sam's lazy personality contrasting with Uzi's activeness. When it comes to things like discovering secrets and accomplishing her personal goals, she doesn't hesitate to get to work immediately, using any opportunity she can find to get to her task. Sam, however, seems practically unfazed by things such as getting shoved to the ground and follows others movements without hesitation, much like most of the Workers.
This calm attitude contrasts with Uzi's hotheadedness as well. Uzi is very short tempered when it comes to things getting in the way of what she wants and overall it becomes a defense mechanism triggered from her tsundure based character. She appears to have much more emotion linked to her character than Sam. Sam's tranquil personality reflects in his tone and overall appearance. An example is the excessive eye bags on his visor, making him appear sleepy most of the time.

The Samzi pairing, along with others, were meant to be shipped as crackships for entertainment. Surprisingly, the pairing began to grow in popularity, for fans discovered many reasons to uphold a successful relationship between them if they were to meet underneath different circumstances.
Shippers enjoy Sam's tired and seemingly uncaring behaviour clashing with Uzi's angsty and agitated demeanor, often making fan art of him sleeping on her shoulder. Fans like to joke that Sam constantly looks stoned, and the Samzi pairing is a perfect example of the "Stoner and the Goth" trope.
People found comfort in this unusual pairing and explain that it could have been a good ship if it were to have some potential.
