SasuNaruBoruSara is the friendship between Sasuke Uchiha, Naruto Uzumaki, Boruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha from the Naruto fandom.
Canon[]
Naruto and Sasuke met long before when they were kids, and each of them got married and had children, Naruto having Boruto and Sasuke having Sarada. Sarada has a huge respect towards Naruto and admires him a lot, since her dream is becoming Hokage, and believes Naruto is quite the representation of a perfect Hokage. But she also started having some problems trying to get along with Sasuke, since he left for a long time and didn't recognize her when they meet. On the other hand, Boruto has some kind of respect towards Sasuke, and after they met, Boruto decided to become a ninja like Sasuke. He disliked Naruto, since he was never around and was always working, so he hated the fact that he was the Hokage.
The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring[]
After Boruto gave Sarada the food so she can give to Naruto, she ran behind the Hokage to give it to him. After eating, Sarada felt sad since she doesn't remember her dad. Naruto told her some things about him and how she has the same eyes as Sasuke, making Sarada smile. After the "shocking revelation" that Sakura isn't Sarada's daughter, Naruto told her people aren't only connected with blood, but also with bonds, and told her she's part of his family too.
Momoshiki[]
Boruto wanted Sasuke to be his teacher, but Sasuke said he must learn the rasengan first. When he showed him, he said it was to small, and Boruto got angry and ran away. Sarada, who was watching, told her father he was a little tough. Sasuke claimed that he never said he made it wrong, telling he was going to accept him, it was only that the rasengan was small. After some time, Boruto stole a scientific ninja tool and won the first and second round. That night, Naruto entered his room and congratulated him, making Boruto get really happy. During the final round of the chunin exams, Naruto caught Boruto cheating and eliminated him, making Sarada really sad since they were fighting together.
When Momoshiki arrived, the whole stadium started crumbling and Sarada almost got crushed by a rock but Sasuke saved her. Sasuke placed her on the floor nearby as Boruto and Naruto appeared. Naruto and Sasuke stood in front of Boruto and Sarada to protect them, and then Boruto used shadow clone jutsu to protect her. After some time, Naruto was taken away, saddening the entire village. Sasuke told Boruto he can come with him to save his dad, and he accepts. Sarada told Sasuke she wants to go too, but he stopped her saying she's the only one from the village with sharingan, so she must stay and keep an eye if something happens. Naruto was saved and returned safely to Konoha again.
Post - Momoshiki[]
After all of it, Boruto started respecting his father, understanding how important and difficult it was to be Hokage, and Sarada got more time to spend with her dad. Also, Boruto started training with Sasuke, becoming teacher and student. Still Sarada is aiming on becoming Hokage just like Naruto, and Boruto is aiming on becoming a ninja, protecting the village and the Hokage from the shadows, just like Sasuke.
Fanon[]
With SasuNaru and BoruSara becoming the most written ship of their respective anime, this team became quite popular among fans. Most people who ship SasuNaru romantically also ship BoruSara and viceversa, though it not in all the cases, and some people like the trust and friendship bonds Naruto shares with Sarada, and the Techer/Student relationship Boruto and Sasuke started developing.
When the Boruto and Sarada were introduced, many people liked the way they were competing with each other, since Naruto and Sasuke were doing the same. Also some people decide tolet it as a family bond, since Naruto and Sasuke have been really like brothers since they were children, and after Boruto and Sarada were born, both of them started having have almost the same relationship as their parents had. When they had to fight together and Naruto told Sasuke "I'll leave you the children", many fans loved how he refered to both Boruto and Sarada. Also now both the Uchiha and the Uzumaki famiies are really connected, as we an see they had visited each other quite often.
