Total Drama Revenge of the Island[]
TRUTH OR LASER SHARK
Scott and the rest of the contestants competed in the Truth or Laser Shark challenge. When his team got a question wrong, they were dunked under water, where Scott first met Fang. Upon seeing the Toxic Rats, Fang darted right toward a screaming Scott and swallowed him whole. The team was sent back up, with Scott still in Fang's mouth. Scott managed to pry Fang's mouth open and escape, swimming back up to his team's seats, albeit with Fang's tooth stuck in his butt. Fang would demonstrate in the confessional, that he is very angry at Scott for taking his tooth and from the looks of it, he vowed vengeance on him because now he had an unsightly gap in his teeth.
FINDERS CREEPERS
Scott opened a coffin in an attempt to sabotage his team's game, only for Fang to break out and scare him. Fang chased Scott through the graveyard but Scott managed to outrun him, when Fang tripped over a mound of dirt and landed in an open grave.
BACKSTABBERS AHOY!
Although Fang doesn't directly interact with Scott in this episode, Scott is heard having a nightmare about Fang, as he calls out "Man Shark!" in his sleep. Later in the episode, Scott plays with Fang's tooth in the confessional and ends up poking himself in the eye.
RUNAWAY MODEL
Fang set up a trap for Scott, where he had a rope snare with a slice of pizza in it as bait. Scott walked up to it and knew exactly what was going on. He loudly exclaimed that it's too bad there's pepperoni on the pizza or else's he'd totally eat it before walking away. Annoyed, Fang went back over to the pizza and picked all the pepperoni slices off of it. While he did, Scott snuck back over to where Fang was standing and cut the rope with Fang's tooth, ensnaring Fang in the trap. After that, Scott waltzed back over to the now pepperoni-free pizza and ate it, laughing at Fang, who hanged there in defeat.
THE TREASURE ISLAND OF DR. MCLEAN
Scott was about to tag the Mclean Mountain with his spray paint, when Lightning drove up with Fang in his kart. The two went flying and Fang swallowed Scott whole once again. Scott sprayed his spray paint in Fang's mouth while his legs were hanging out so it looked like he was farting. The spray paint was so nasty, it got Fang to spit Scott out, now with blue paint all over his tongue.
GRAND CHEF AUTO
Fang chased Scott around the island until Scott tripped on a rock and made himself a sitting duck. Giving up and waiting for death, Scott admitted defeat and covered himself in salt, just begging Fang to eat him fast. A helicopter flew overhead, which threw Fang off. Scott seized this opportunity to kick Fang in the nads and flee.
UP, UP, AND AWAY IN MY PITIFUL BALLOON
Fang met up with Scott again and chased him. Fortunately, as Scott ran away, Fang got his leg caught in the rope of Jo's hot air balloon and went up into the air again, keeping Scott safe and sound. However, during the flying challenge, Scott ended up flying right up to Fang, who was still dangling from Jo's balloon. Scott freaked out and flailed about in terror as Fang attempted to bite him once again, only for Scott to just narrowly escape becoming fish food.
Zoey later got revenge on Scott for getting her boyfriend, Mike, eliminated, by summoning a bunch of flying goats to breathe fire at him, burning his gladiator wings and sending him falling from the sky and landing right on Fang's tail. Scott's added weight caused Jo's balloon to plummet into the seas, taking Scott and Fang down with her.
EAT, PUKE, AND BE WARY
Scott sets up several traps for Fang that all fail. At the end of the episode, he's about to win the challenge and touch the flagpole first, only for Fang to block his path and chase him. Fang jumps over Scott and lands in front of him, leading Scott to have to come to a screeching halt. This just leads to Scott tripping over a rock and landing right in front of Fang, incapacitated. Scott begs Fang to leave him alone and asks why he's even after him anyway. Fang shows Scott that he has one of his missing teeth and Scott is mad that this is the reason, telling Fang that he has hundreds of teeth. He refused to give Fang his tooth back. Just then, Fang falls into a pit trap and Scott celebrates his victory, only to realize he never made a pit trap and this one came from Zoey instead. Nevertheless, Scott teases Fang as he tries and fails to jump out of his pit.
At the end of the episode, a very beaten-up Scott finally gets eliminated from the show. When he gets into the Hurl of Shame, Chris puts Fang in there with him as a little way of thanking him for flinging him into a pile of poop. Fang takes his stolen tooth back from Scott and finally returns it to his mouth. After this, the two are catapulted into the skies, with Scott presumably being tortured beyond reason by Fang.
BRAINS VS. BRAWN: THE ULTIMATE SHOWDOWN
Scott is now in a trauma chair due to just how disastrous that encounter with Fang was. Sadly for him, his bouts with the great white were not done yet as Chris brought Fang and all of the other mutants back for one last battle. Scott's red light on his trauma chair beeped as Fang chased the poor soul across the island for another beating.
Total Drama All-Stars[]
HEROES VS. VILLAINS
Fang appears in the waters of Wawanakwa, as he re-introduces himself to the show. The Revenge of the Island cast is horrified to see him again, especially Scott. Fang gives Scott a happy little wave, as he's about to have tons more fights with him. Scott clings onto the rock for dear life, refusing to go into the water with Fang there, as Jo tries desperately to pull him off. Her hands slip and she crashes into the robot, knocking the robot into the water, making it explode, revealing Alejandro inside.
SUCKERS PUNCHED
Scott is paired up with Fang during the boxing match. Scott is so petrified of Fang that he freezes up entirely. Chef throws Scott into the ring and Fang just starts wailing on the paralyzed dirt farmer. With that, Scott easily loses the challenge.
YOU REGATTA BE KIDDING ME
During the regatta, around Total Drama Island, Cameron hangs Scott off the front of his raft to attract Fang and have the shark swim after Scott with the raft on his back, helping them to move quicker. Scott flails about in terror and when Fang tries to bite him, Scott flies up and lands on the raft, now pushing Cameron in to be Fang's meal instead. Fang swims up to Cameron and gives him a little sniff before brushing him off as unworthy of his time and swimming off, leaving Cameron unharmed. Annoyed, Scott notes in the that Fang was looking for a meal instead of a snack, which Chris thought was incredibly hilarious.
THE BOLD AND THE BOOTY-FUL
Scott's part of the challenge is to go to a shipwreck and find a gem, which is in Fang's mouth. Fang chases Scott around the boat and Scott hides up on the crow's nest, while Fang waits for him to come down. Scott uses a rope to tie up Fang's nose and ensnare him, pulling him up to the crow's nest and knocking himself back down to the deck in the process. Fang throws a bunch of heavy objects down on Scott. Finally, Mal comes in and tricks Scott into getting himself caught in a rope trap, so that Fang can give Scott one final beating before the now unconscious redneck gets the Flush of Shame once and for all.
Fanon[]
Scang is frowned upon by many people in the fandom for a myriad of reasons. For starters, Fang is a mutant shark, which makes him incompatible to date a human being. Secondly, there's the fact that Fang is an abusive, bloodthirsty monster who wants only for Scott to be tortured, killed, and devoured.
However, several other fans ship them and see Scott and deserving of Fang, due to how evil he is toward the other contestants. Other fans, who care for the well-being of Scott still prefer this ship to Scottney, given how Fang treats Scott is a lot safer and less toxic of a partner to Scott than Courtney is.
When it comes to the relationship between Scott and Fang, the majority of the fandom ships them not as friends or lovers but as enemies. People strongly admire their farmed everlasting Looney Tunes-style rivalry with each other and the hilarious ways the two manage to each other's goats all the time. The way Fang beats up and attacks Scott is also well-received for how it gives Scott karma for his consistent betrayal of his own teammates on the show.
