Scarzi is the het ship between Scar and Shenzi from The Lion King fandom.

Canon

Shenzi (with her clan) lived in the Elephant Graveyard due to her clan's exile from the Pride Lands. At some point in her life, she became the leader of her clan. They formed a allyship with a member of the royal family named Scar, who recruited them to assist in the murder of his brother, Mufasa, and nephew, Simba. In exchange, Scar would allow Shenzi and her clan back into the Pride Lands so they could get all the food they wanted. Initially, Shenzi considered Scar to be her friend and was willing to follow his every order.

And so, the next day, Shenzi patiently waited for Scar's signal in order to enact his plan and forced her partners to do the same. She eventually sees Scar at a nearby ridge - giving her the go-ahead to drive a herd of wildebeests into a nearby gorge. The resulting stampede ends with Mufasa trampled to death and a distraught Simba running away in guilt. Not wanting to take any chances, Scar then has Shenzi and her partners kill Simba. They end up losing Simba as he flees to the desert, but Shenzi decides to tell Scar they killed him because the cub was most likely going to die out there, anyway.

With Scar now the king, Shenzi and her clan are welcomed into the Pride Lands so they could begin feasting. Things didn't go well however as, not long after, the Pride Lands were struck by a famine that drove away much of the hyenas' prey. Shenzi, accompanied by Banzai and Ed, goes to Scar in order to find a solution to the problem. However, the lion merely tells her that it's the lionesses that are supposed to get food and, when informed the lionesses weren't cooperating, offers to feed them his new majordomo Zazu. The trio are frustrated that Scar is blowing them off, and Banzai gets frustrated enough that he mutters about Mufasa being the better ruler. Despite Shenzi's attempt to smooth things over, Scar is angered by the comment and forces the trio to leave his den.

Things got worse when Simba, now fully grown, returns to Pride Rock. Scar was angry with Shenzi as that meant she had lied to him about killing the then-cub. Before long, Scar is forced to confess that he killed Mufasa, which sets off a fight between the hyenas and the lionesses that now fully supported Simba's claim to the throne. While Scar battled Simba atop Pride Rock's peak, Shenzi personally tried to go after Simba's friends only for her and her group to be driven away. Shenzi would eventually return to a defeated Scar - just as he tries to plead with Simba that it was the hyenas that were the true enemy. Angry at the insinuation, Shenzi and her group merely stood by to let Scar be judged by Simba. When Scar fails a final sneak attack on Simba and is sent tumbling down to Pride Rock's base, Shenzi and her clan slowly encircle him. He tries to get them rallied around him but Shenzi tells him they know about his betrayal - before moving to tear Scar apart and kill him.

Fanon

Scarzi is a rare ship in The Lion King fandom. Dedicated fans of the ship cite Shenzi's displayed loyalty to Scar up until the end, her willingness to follow him even when things were going wrong, as a significant factor. The novelty of it being an interspecies ship gave it some additional attention. However, there's also those that see the two are just using each other to achieve their goals. Scar and Shenzi also have more popular ships.
