Sconadilver is the polyship between Scourge, Sonic, Shadow, and Silver from the Sonic the Hedgehog fandom.
Canon[]
At the end issue 189, Sonic and Scourge make their grand entrance at Freedom HQ when the Freedom Fighters fended off an attack by the Suppression Squad (consisting of their Moebius counterparts and Fiona). The blue hedgehog entered through the front door, while the green hedgehog at the recently opened Star Posts. Next issue, everyone continue their fight, with Sally kicking Scourge in the chin and the blue hedgehog spin-dashing on Alicia. Sonic then does the same on Miles, Patch, and Boomer as they held on to Bunnie and Antoine, then receives his own medicine from the green hedgehog. The Freedom Fighters temporary abandon their headquarters, but Sonic came back in the next issue, where short a three-way standoff begins against Scourge and Metal Sonic. The green hedgehog offers him co-rulership in exchange of conquering Mobius, but Metal interrupts to the blue hedgehog’s dismay. The next one shows Sonic and Scourge facing off their metal counterparts, and the Suppression Squad intervening later on.
In issue 193, Sonic and Amy go through a portal to Moebius to find ways to “reverse [Scourge’s] invasion”. In issue 194, Sally negotiates with Miles to turn against Scourge, only to be met with more fighting. Boomer subdues both Sonic and Scourge, and Miles throws them through the Star Posts, the former saying that the green hedgehog “is Sonic’s problem now”. Meanwhile on Mercia, Rob o’ the Hedge and Mari-An spot a figure above Never Lake—it is Silver from the future, who is searching for the blue hedgehog.
In issue 195, Silver uses a warp ring to let him and Rob teleport to Freedom HQ, where the rest of the Freedom Fighters and their Moebius counterparts are still arguing. Everyone then uses the psychokinetic hedgehog’s ring to go to Castle Acorn on Moebius. There, Rosy is busy making misses with her hammer on Sonic, Scourge, and Amy. Shadow and Metal appear, the former not expecting to be in the Special Zone. Silver and Rob are first from the Warp Ring to go inside the castle. All hedgehogs gang up each other, with Metal as a distraction. Silver, confused at the situation, uses his psychokinesis to stop them from fighting further, then asks for Sonic. After discerning from Scourge and Metal, he attacks the blue hedgehog. Rob reasons with Silver about Sonic’s heroism, but Scourge interrupts their dialogue. As the fighting progresses, Scourge retreats to his throne room with the others following him. As he sits down with a pile of Anarchy Beryls, he transforms into Super Scourge.
On next issue, Scourge subdues all the hedgehogs and Metal. Sally, Alicia, and all the rest of the Freedom Fighters and their Moebius counterparts head to the throne room, appalled by Scourge’s early victory and him hovering while holding Sonic by the neck. They charge to the purple hedgehog, with Silver holding him with his psychokinesis. With a power so great, Scourge easily broke free using his rage. The fight continues outside his castle, this time only Sonic was chasing Scourge. After a tiresome fight, the blue hedgehog takes the recently de-powered Scourge to jail for interrogation.
Scourge’s fate remains unknown after he escaped from the No-Zone, even when the Genesis Wave rewrote the Archie Sonic multiverse. This also drastically changes the canon of the three remaining hedgehog from partly-original and part-game concepts to mostly game-focused personalities.
Fanon[]
This ship is rare, since polyships, and even fan-made works, involving the three and Scourge are uncommon. A fan club on DeviantArt was set up on mid-late 2010, but almost every work there is not related to the foursome. Fanart of the four is more common, with some including other hedgehogs like Amy, Rosy, or even Mephiles. Examples include those by SonicTheHedgehogBG and Phyllis, and 4sonicfan.
Fans who do ship, or at least include Scourge in, this foursome wish that he would be a good addition for his mixed or otherwise opposite personalities to the blue hedgehog. Scourge’s absence in later Sonic media motivate them to create alternate universes where he can be seen as another rival to the three.
