Selilius is the family ship between Seliph and Julius from the Fire Emblem fandom.
Canon[]
Seliph is the main character of the second half of Fire Emblem Genealogy of The Holy War and Julius is it's main antagonist . Seliph is Deirdre's first son that she has with her first husband Sigurd. Some time after, she is abducted by Manfroy who also erase her memory, she is found by Arvis and marry with him. With Arvis, Deirdre give birth to two twins Julia and Julius. Seliph is sent to Ishaac for safety by his father. Some time after sending Seliph to Ishaac Sigurd is betrayed and killed by Arvis who then became emperor of Grannvale . According to Julia, Julius was originally a kind and caring person but he changed when he received the Loptyr tome. Julius birth was orchestrated by the loptyr cult that manipulated Arvis and Deirdre to marry in order to have them giving birth to a child with a major Loptyr holy blood that could serve as a vessel for their dark god Loptyr. The leader of the cult Manfroy gave to Julius the tome of Loptyr which corrupted him. Some time after Julius took the control of the empire and became a cruel ruler know as the Scion of Darkness. People start to considere Seliph as their only hope since he was the true heir of Grannvale (by being Deirdre first child) , they called him the Scion of Light.
Seliph became the leader of the liberation army to fight the Empire oppression. Seliph briefly see his half-brother after his fight with Ishtar. Isthar is Julius's lover and the daughter of Lord Bloom, when the liberation army aprochead Conote Bloom asked to his daughter to stop their enemies, Ishtar is finally defeated by the liberation army but Julius appears to teleport away with her. Seliph ask Tine or Linda (the cousin of Ishtar who joined the liberation army) details about the man that collected Ishtar. She reavel that it was Julius and describe him to Seliph by these words " He has this odd charm which draws people to him... only for them to find that he's colder than ice. He's terrifying If I didn't know better, I would swear he isn't even human...". Seliph really first meet Julius near Chalphy. Julius has heard about Seliph but don't consider him as a major threat. Julius go with Ishtar to fight the liberation army and they will retread after killing someone in the liberation army or if one of them is defeated.
The liberation army continue it's advance. Julia obtain the book of Naga which negate the effect of the Loptyr one. After defeting many nobles sidding with Julius (including Ishtar) the liberation army finally face the Scion of Darkness. If Seliph attack him, Julius will mock him by saying that fighting the heir of Baldr is not a challenge. If Julius is killed by Seliph his final words are to his half-brother he promise that so long as avarice lurks still in the hearts of men he will return. After Julius death Seliph, who became a King, poured his strength into the reconstruction of the country and the peace of the Continent, and aimed at the realization of a wealthy world, free of discrimination and of domination.

Selilius is less popular than Julialius since unlike Julia Seliph never knew Julius before his possetion. Some fanworks show Seliph meeting with Julius before fighting him. Some others depict them meeting before Julius's possetion. Some fanarts and fanfictions show them with their sister Julia and sometime with Saias (who is Julius's paternal half brother and Seliph's cousin). Most of the fanworks that depict their relationship take place in an AU.

Trivia[]
- Since Arvis (Julius's father) is Seliph's half-uncle, Julius and Seliph are also cousins.
- Julius's unique boss theme only plays when he fights his sibling Seliph and Julia, if any other characters attack him then the normal boss theme will play in Chapter 10 and theme "Fated Showdown" in the Final Chapter
