SeroIida is the slash ship between Tenya Iida and Hanta Sero from the My Hero Academia fandom.
Canon[]
Tenya and Hanta are both members of Class 1-A at UA High School. Despite this, they do not share very many canon interactions with each other. Tenya is considered to be a member of the Dekusquad and Hanta a member of the Bakusquad. As such, their friend circles do not overlap very much. However, Tenya and Hanta can both be seen as some of the more "level-headed" members of their respective friend groups. In this way, the have very similar roles.
During the attack on the USJ, Tenya and Hanta are two of the students who are not affected by Kurogiri's Warp. As such, they fight alongside Thirteen to try and detain Kurogiri. When it is suggested that Tenya run back to UA to get backup, Hanta helps to restrain Kurogiri to provide Tenya a safe exit.
Tenya and Hanta both make it to the Final Event of the Sports Festival. Hanta is eliminated in the first round while Tenya ties for third place, although they are each eliminated following their respective battles with Shoto Todoroki. After their first semester Internships, All Might arranges for a rescue practice to show off what each student has learned. The students are broken into teams of five to hold a race, and Hanta and Tenya are placed in the same group. Despite Tenya having a Quirk based entirely on speed, Hanta ends up winning the race by utilizing his Tape to get a high vantage point of the course.
During the League of Villains' attack on the Summer Training camp, Tenya and Hanta end up safe together inside the classroom. While Hanta was there because he failed his final exam, Tenya ended up running there upon the arrival of Spinner and Magne. On the way to a school meeting after moving into the dormitories, Tenya directs his classmates to walk in a single file line. Hanta, following along in line, points out that Tenya is actually the only one not in line right now. Tenya winces at this, declaring it the "dilemma" of being the Class Rep.
After the Shie Hassaikai raid, the students return to the dormitories to find their worried classmates. Tenya is seen grabbing Izuku Midoriya and shaking him by the shoulders, explaining just how worried he was for his wellbeing. Hanta pipes up that Tenya needs to chill out and let Izuku be. Following their winter Work Study program, Tenya shows off how Manual helped him become less uptight. Denki Kaminari and Hanta are seen laughing at him as they leave the classroom, with Denki calling him a "bike where the chain keeps coming off", and Hanta arguing that Tenya should actually be a "motorcycle" because of his engines.
In the Team-Up Missions chapter "Shinso's Errand", Hanta, Tenya, and Izuku are sent to the mall together to buy decorations for Hitoshi Shinso's 1-A dorm room.
Fanon[]
SeroIida is one of the more popular ships for both Tenya and Hanta. It is currently the 4th most popular ship on AO3 for both characters, with over 600 works.
The ship likely sailed as a result of Tenya and Hanta's contrasting personalities, and the fact that neither has any real "ship bait" in canon. This leaves perfect opportunity to pair the two together, alongside works that feature semi-canon ships such as KamiJirou and IzuOcha. Tenya and Hanta are both members of the fanon Dekusquad and Bakusquad respectively, so some fans like to pair them together as a way to bridge the gap between the two groups. Although it is rivaled by each character's respective ships with Shoto Todoroki, among other ships, SeroIida is a ship that seems to only be gaining traction and growing a fanbase.
