SetsuMia is the femslash ship between Mia Taylor and Setsuna Yuki from the Love Live! fandom.

Canon

Setsuna Yuki was the original founder of the School Idol Club in Nijigasaki High and she also worked as the president of the student council as Nana Nakagawa, her real identity. Mia Taylor had just transferred to Nijigasaki High to assist Lanzhu Zhong who also took an exchange student program to become a school idol of the said school. Although Setsuna knows every students and clubs of Nijigasaki, she probably knew little about Mia who was always seen distancing herself from the students. The first time they sees each other is when Lanzhu is calling the school idol club for a challenge in regards to upcoming 2nd School Idol Festival to be hosted by themselves. Setsuna may have seen Mia from the distance who was waiting for Lanzhu to finish her conversation with the club before leaving the hall for their next activities.

Prior to the 2nd School Idol Festival, Mia has a strict business partner with Lanzhu resulting her less appearance throughout the classes. At one point when Nana revealed that she was behind the school idol Setsuna Yuki, Mia may have presumably knew her identity as well. In the 2nd Fes, Mia is not seen participating the event, prompting the 1st-year members to forcibly pull her to join the event. The two met again in the last day of the 2nd Fes when the entire club members gather outside to help Yu again, but then again they never interact. Later after Mia giving some advice to Yu, they overhear Setsuna's singing part during AZUNA's performance, encouraging Yu to compose the song she's been looking for and thus their final concert succeeded.

While they still don't know each other, Setsuna did some little help on Mia when she's asleep while she's rewritting the song that was supposedly composed for Lanzhu, and later Mia thank the club for bringing Lanzhu return to the school. After Mia formally joins the club, Mia asked why the club won't participating the titular competition in which Setsuna answered her the truth behind the story. It was the only time that Setsuna and Mia have finally faced each other. Sometime later, they formally formed friendship when they agreed to decline their club from officially recognizing as the school's official club. In preparation for their first concert with the new members, they formed a pair as part of the choreography for their new song "Future Project". And in the actual concert, Mia ans Setsuna hugged a group of four ahead of the final part of the concert.

Fanon

MiaSetsu is probably the rarest Nijigasaki ship because of almost-zero interactions of them across the franchise, however that doesn't stop a few numbers of Love Live worshippers to sail every pairs including crackships. Some believes that this ship has potential because of Mia's talent as a writer/composer/arrange whose skills is a slight better than a player character from Love Live! School Idol Festival ALL STARS or Yu Takasaki from Love Live! Nijigasaki High Shool Idol Club that Setsuna was looking for. Should the player character of SIFAS or Yu Takasaki is absent, Mia can take her position temporarily and help out the club members. Because of rarity status of this ship, searching for any fanart or fanfic of this tag is almost non-existence for a moment.

Like most rare ships, MiaSetus is popular with fellow Nijigasaki crackships, also forms a mutual ship with RinaMia, and it's primarily rivaled by YuuSetsu, SetsuPomu, SetsuShio, LanMia, and YuuMia.

• In SIF2, the illustration of Setsuna's unidolized UR card "Band of Volunteers" depicts her jamming together with Mia in a small concert. SetsuMia would eventually have their own duet song titled "SAVOTINA!!" for the Nijigaku Flower Music.
