ShaMu is the slash ship between Virgo Shaka and Aries Mū from the Saint Seiya fandom.
Canon[]
Mū and Shaka belong to the third batch of future Gold Saints that arrived at the Sanctuary. They both arrive around the same time, being the only Asian rookies of the lot. After both being sent to their respective training grounds to get their Gold Cloth, they reunite back at the Sanctuary of Athena. They both participate in the Gold Saint reunion that took place when the Goddess Athena was born again. After they both got sent back to become stronger, only Shaka came back to the Sanctuary. Mū stayed in Jamir and took an apprentice, as he feared something evil had taken over the Sanctuary.
Mū only comes back to the Sanctuary after Athena decided to confront the Pope. Shaka and Mū meet again during the Sancuary Arc. Shaka had died at Phoenix Ikki's hands and communicates telepatically with Mū to ask for his help on coming back. Mū replies that he knows Shaka does not need his help to come back to life, to which Shaka replies he's not alone and wants to bring someone else with him. Mū uses his power to bring him back along with Ikki. They both pledge their loyalty to Athena when after she's saved and, along with the rest of the surviving Gold Saints, go up the mountain to see the last battle with Saga unfold.
During the Poseidon arc, Shaka goes to the Aries Temple along with all the surviving Gold Saints, so they can watch the Bronze Saints fight together.
In the Hades Arc, while Shaka is fighting Saga, Shura and Camus, Mū stands in front of the doors of the Salas garden of the Virgo Temple, and stops the others from interfering as it was his wish not to be interrupted. After Shaka's death, Saga gives Mū Shaka's rosary.
They meet one more time in front of the Wailing Wall, where all the Gold Saints sacrifice their lives so that the Bronze Saints can get into the Elysium.
In the Spin-off Soul of Gold, Shaka and Mū meet inside a cave where Shaka is meditating, and talk about everything that is happening and how to stop Yggdrasil from absorbing cosmos. When Mū is about to leave to investigate, Shaka asks him to take the gold dagger that was used to kill Athena with him.
In the Spin-off Saint Seiya: Saintia Sho, Mū and Shaka collaborate together a few times in fight. They both investigate and try to find a way to go through the barrier that surrounds Eris.

ShaMu is the most popular ship for both characters. They seem to be significantly more popular in Japan than the West. They are shipped because of their origin, both being from Asia, their similar techniques, and the fact that they seem to trust each other a lot in canon. A popular headcanon for them is that they both talk a lot telepathically to each other and have been good friends since they were kids.
