Season 4[]
LEGENDS OF TO-MEOW-MEOW
Charlie is trying to figure out how Charlie got turned into a cat, when a hologrom of Gideon appears. Gideon tells her that Zari was turned into a cat when the Legends ran into the fairy godmother. Charlie says that Gideons newest upgrade is smoking, and Gideon thanks her, calling her Amaya. Charlie decides to roll with it, and Gideon compliments "Amaya's" new upgrade as well. Charlie's flattered, when she's interrupted by a meow from Zari, and Charlie gets back on track. She asks why the guys are killing every monster they come across, and Gideon explains that they have taken on the policy of "shoot to kill" since Woodstock. Charlie thanks Gideon for the info and she disappears.
After breaking the timeline again, Charlie disguises herself as Amaya to get to the Sirens of Spacetime. She asks what costumes they'll need for the mission, but Gideon says that would take too much time between killing them. Charlie spits out her drink, but is able to figure out what they need to do to fix the timeline. The three then confront her, and Sara says that Gideon knew that Charlie wasn't Amaya the whole time. Gideon says that she's programmed to sense shapeshifter pheramones, much to Chrlie's confusion.

ShapeShip is a very rarepair in the Legends fandom. Those that do ship it tend to do so based on Charlie's attraction to Gideon's hologram version. Often comparing the reaction to some moments between Charlie and Zari Tomaz. Many pointed out that Gideon seemed to make everyone who had ever seen her how she sees herself fall for her rather easily. Though the two don't have many significant interactions, more often having small ones where Charlie asks Gideon for help. Although the two are more often shipped with other characters. Charlie more often being shipped with Zari Tomaz, and at the time Gideon was more often shipped with Rip Hunter. On AO3, there are no romantic works, but there is currently 1 written gen fic.
