Shave is the slash ship between Shawn and Dave from the Total Drama fandom.

SO, UH, THIS IS MY TEAM?
Shawn and Dave were both put on Team Wâneyihtam Maskwak together. Dave immediately found himself hating Shawn, lumping him in with the rest of the "weirdos" on the team because of his zombie paranoia. When collecting materials for building their fort, Shawn got a can of soup and Dave got mad that Shawn didn't get something better. Dave was also confused when he saw Shawn leave to go out into the woods. Dave asked if he could vote for four people in the confessional, although it's unclear if Shawn was one of the four people. Other people on the team he found annoying were Sugar, Leonard, Ella, and Beardo, the latter of which, we know, is the person he voted for. This leaves three spaces for the other people he would have wanted to vote for, so it's unknown if Shawn was included in this or not.
I LOVE YOU, GREASE PIG!
Dave seemed to warm up to Shawn more in this episode as he recognized Shawn's foraging skills. Dave thanked Shawn for gathering fruit for the team and finding them a cave to sleep in.
TWINNING ISN'T EVERYTHING
Dave accepted Shawn's proposal to go foraging for berries in the woods, although he really only did this so that he could spend more time with Sky. Shawn was actually kind of upset to see Dave join him and Sky, as he believed that larger groups of people in the wilderness just attracted more zombies. Shawn later scared Dave during the water balloon challenge, when he came out from in front of a tree, camouflaged as the tree bark. Dave later finds himself impressed with Shawn's skills, when the latter uses a slingshot to burst the balloons of Max and Scarlett, while they were still holding them.
I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU KNOTS
Shawn and Dave forage for berries again, without Sky present. This just goes to show that at this point, Dave has officially become friends with Shawn and no longer sees him as a weirdo anymore. During the truth or scare challenge, Dave was tasked with the scare of kissing someone next to you. He glanced over at Shawn, whose eyes widened in shock, before he bolted off, leaving Dave to kiss Sky instead. Later on, Shawn got the scare of wiping his booger on the person next to him. Shawn sat at the end, leaving him with no choice but to wipe his booger on germophobe, Dave. Dave ran off, screaming and flailing about, not willing to get Shawn's germs. However, Shawn was not willing to lose a point because of Dave and he blew a snot rocket at him, covering Dave in even more nose goo than he had ever anticipated before.
A BLAST FROM THE PAST
Shawn was afraid to participate in the 123X-Dash due to his zombie paranoia, so Dave told him to just imagine that the other team is full of zombies. This convinced Shawn to participate in whacking someone off the platform at full blast. Unfortunately for Shawn, that someone was Jasmine.
MO MONKEY, MO PROBLEMS
Dave set up a romantic picnic for Sky so that he could ask her out. Shawn sat with him at the picnic and tried to talk him out of seeing her. Dave argued that everybody has someone in their life that they consider to be that special someone. Shawn denied having such a person in his own life. However, Dave still propagated that there has to be someone in Shawn's life that he'd be willing to lose all of his money for. This caused Shawn's eyes to well up with tears, as he was already thinking about Jasmine. Shawn took off like a bullet to go and be with her.
THREE ZONES AND A BABY
Dave was sad that Sky was moved to the other team so he could no longer be with his love interest anymore and Shawn made himself a shoulder for him to cry on. While climbing the mountains to win the challenge, Shawn noticed that Dave was so heartbroken, that he wasn't even trying anymore, so he went back to save him. Shawn picked up Dave and carried him up the mountains to help him progress through the challenge. If he didn't do this, Dave was just going to be killed by Pasta Bear. Dave tells Shawn to just leave him behind to die but Shawn gives Dave a pep-talk, letting him know that the only way to win Sky's heart is to win the challenge and show to her that he is a strong and powerful soldier. This motivates Dave to keep on moving, only for him to get bitten by a rattlesnake and paralyzed, leaving Shawn to carry him through the rest of the challenge again. Shawn eventually gets Dave's unconscious body to the top of the hill and uses him as a sled for himself and the rest of the team.
HURL AND GO SEEK
Shawn was on the run from what he believed to be zombies but were actually sickly people, who had eaten too much expired food. One of these so-called "zombies" was Dave. Shawn singlehandedly defeated the "zombies", while Dave acted like an obnoxious simp for Sky. Shawn has Dave eliminated from the show, voting him off for being such an incompetent boob.
LIES, CRIES, AND ONE BIG PRIZE
Dave returns to be Sky's helper, while Jasmine serves as Shawn's helper. When crossing the mudpit, Jasmine turned back because she had claustrophobia and crashed into Dave, who was riding on Sky. Shawn and Dave got into a slap fight before Shawn knocks Dave into the mud.
Fanon[]
Some people ship Shawn and Dave ironically. One of the things that pushes people to ship Shawn and Dave is the fact that Shawn is one of the only people on Team Maskwak who Dave doesn't hate. Another thing was the ho yay moments between the two, such as the gay kiss joke from "I Love You, I Love You Knots", the romantic picnic in "Mo' Monkey, Mo' Problems", or Shawn carrying Dave in "Three Zones and a Baby". Rival ships are the canon ships, Shasmine and Skave.
