Sheikah Sisters is the family ship between Impa and Purah from The Legend of Zelda fandom.
Canon[]
Breath of the Wild[]
Purah is Impa's sister of the Breath of the Wild timeline, with Purah being the elder sister while Impa is the younger sister. While they do not directly interact with each other at all throughout the game, Impa and Purah have been talking about each other with Link. Purah has noted that Impa is often the one who keeps her in check by stopping her from going through crazier antics and does not want her to get hurt through any means. Following the events of Calamity Ganon's return that brought much tragedy to the kingdom with it falling into ruin along with the Ancient Research Lab being completely destroyed, Purah, Robbie, and Impa resolve to go separate ways as a precaution, so Ganon does not kill them all in a single fell swoop so at least one of them guides Link when he rises from a century long stasis. As Purah grew significantly older, she began to create an age reversing rune to restore her youth and hopes to do the same favor for the senior soldiers so they can help Link combat Ganon, so without Impa being around to stop her, she goes through with the process of using herself as a test subject. It works too well and Purah has been reduced to being a six-year-old little girl and she wanted to create an age boosting rune but decides to put it off for a while. When Purah finally meets with Link, in one of her conversations, she describes her relationship with Impa as being a sharp contrast with Impa being responsible and patient while Purah is outgoing and reckless, and people don't see how they can possibly have anything in common, in spite of their familial bond.
Age of Calamity[]
Due to the story taking place before and during Calamity Ganon's attack, Purah and Impa are both young adults who have noticeably more interactions with each other than they did in Breath of the Wild. It's a common scenario for Purah to suggest doing something crazy, much to Impa's annoyance. However, they work well with each other, and it helps that Purah and Impa have more active roles in the story than they previously did, with Purah's many inventions, which is helped by Terrako, helping to turn the tide in Hyrule's favor. This is the only game where they are seen together onscreen.
Tears of the Kingdom[]
While Purah and Impa do not interact, some of Purah's diary volumes do bring up Impa and memories of early days. One of them has Purah and Robbie having been going through some experiment failures with Zelda and Impa covering for them when they get into trouble, with Impa scolding her a lot. Another entry has her recalling a very fond memory that she has of Impa is her habit of hiding important items underneath things when she was only a child, and once forgot about a steamed bun she hid under a cushion and accidentally squished it flat which Purah found funny, and she hopes she finds a better spot for it than a cushion.
Fanon[]
Fans grew to love the fact that Impa is officially given a relative in her life when she was often depicted as being a single child in the family. It was due to this that led to many fan stories being created of them having their sibling bond with each other and it's not uncommon to see depictions of them in fan art either. They note that their differing personalities complement each other significantly, as Impa is noted to be disciplined, responsible, and being the most patient with Purah being irresponsible, impulsive, and outgoing, which can sometimes end up being sources of conflict between each other. Despite all this, they do have very good chemistry and Impa was noted to keep Purah in check on many occasions by preventing her from going through with crazy antics and the consequences of her distance from Purah shows when she goes through with the age reversing experimentation on herself, resulting in her becoming a young child.
