SherCotton is the het ship between Cotton Cookie and Sherbet Cookie from the Cookie Run fandom.

Cotton Cookie and Sherbet Cookie are very close friend, as Cotton Cookie visits Sherbet Cookie daily since he fell ill to take care of him. For Cotton Cookie, Sherbet Cookie is dear to her, removes her sense of loneliness, and is her "special someone". [1]In turn, Sherbet Cookie considered Cotton Cookie and her lantern as the light that made him never get lost in his haunted thoughts and made him no longer feel lonely.
According to the following story, Cotton Cookie and Sherbet Cookie were in the same village when both of them were young. When Sherbet Cookie was nearly dead, Cotton Cookie said that she would do anything to save his life and risked her life to reach the Wind Flower for a couple more minutes with Sherbet Cookie.
Lantern in the Snow[]
An old Snowfall Villager tries to find a certain location to hang a lantern, and his child tells him to hang it higher. The snowfall Villager seemed to agree with his child's opinion of hanging it higher, thinking the height is important so more Cookies could see it, but it is also important to make your feelings come through as well. The child asks what type of feelings their father is talking about, and he responds by using wishes for other Cookies' happiness as an example. He then adds a certain Cookie, who was the first one to hang a lantern on the exact tree they were talking about, and asks his child if they want to hear the story. His child agrees, and he begins to tell the story of two little Cookie friends.
Sherbet Cookie is introduced as a close and dear friend of Cotton Cookie, who unfortunately fell ill and could not leave his home. This mysterious illness caused him to manifest ice on object surfaces that he touched. Cotton Cookie visited him daily to take care of him and ensure his health and well-being. During a visit, Sherbet Cookie expressed his belief that he was targeted by the Frost Witch, although Cotton Cookie assured him that the Frost Witch was not real, being thought up only to scare children, and comforted him by saying she would protect him with her staff. Cotton Cookie then promised that she would travel to anywhere he wanted together with him.

Cotton Cookie arrives at Sherbet Cookie's home the next day, like usual, only to find him missing. She went out into the cold weather and saw him in the distance, covered by a raging blizzard and accompanied by a mysterious entity. Cotton Cookie identified them as the Frost Witch, and so started her journey to rescue her missing friend.
Cotton Cookie ventured through the blizzard in search of her friend, but the excessive sheer cold of the environment caused her to grow weaker until she fell unconscious. Cotton Cookie woke up from her unconscious state to find herself in Frost Queen Cookie's castle. She is greeted by Frost Queen Cookie, who tells her that venturing into such harsh areas is dangerous and foolish. In front of Cotton Cookie is a senseless Sherbet Cookie, who didn't answer to Cotton Cookie's cries.

Cotton Cookie confronted the witch about the curse that overtook Sherbet Cookie, to which the witch replied that his state of weakness isn't a curse nor an illness but is just a part of the cycle of life. Specific cookies were chosen to become Frost Children, those who are fated to dissolve into snow and become one with the white terrain, but only those with a genuine willingness in their hearts are appointed. Cotton Cookie came to the realisation that he had always wished to become one with the snow, but she begged the witch for a way to prevent the fate. The witch stated that there is no way to stop a phase in the life cycle but is still able to temporarily discontinue Sherbet Cookie's fate using the Wind Flower.
Cotton Cookie agreed to the challenge and set out on the snowy mountains and cliffs to find the flower. Although having been injured throughout the conquest many times, Cotton Cookie remained strong and continued to go after the flower for a final moment with him. Soon enough, Cotton Cookie successfully acquired the wind flower and returned to the castle, leaving the Frost Witch surprised. With the power of the wind flower, Cotton Cookie had a momentary conversation with him.

Sherbet Cookie had always thought of becoming a snowflake in the snow, and throughout his state of body and mind, he only saw darkness and snow but would see a soft yellow light following him. He realises that the light is Cotton Cookie, who always stayed by his side and made him no longer feel lonely. Cotton Cookie reciprocates the feeling, stating how Cotton Cookie never felt alone with Sherbet Cookie and wishes to stay by his side forever. Soon enough, Sherbet Cookie's time had arrived, and he bid farewell to Cotton Cookie, leaving one last request for her to always remember him. She hugged him in her hands, and Sherbet Cookie dissolved into the surrounding snow, with Cotton Cookie only being able to watch and bid farewell tearfully to him.
However, much to the shock of Frost Queen Cookie and Cotton Cookie, Sherbet Cookie reformed from the snow and was reborn as a new being, a herald of nature. Upon seeing his new vessel, Sherbet Cookie expresses extreme joy, as he can finally go anywhere he desires. Seeing his happiness, Cotton Cookie finally understood all that happened and accepted their fate. Frost Queen Cookie tells Sherbet Cookie to travel far away and live his dream and that he would soon find his role in nature, just as Frost Queen Cookie had found hers. Sherbet Cookie promises to always remember Cotton Cookie and her guiding lantern before finally departing.

At the end of the year, two villagers were hanging their lanterns on a tall pine tree as twilight set in. The lanterns, each carrying a wish with them, glowed warmly, lighting up the snowy ground around them. In the midst of this festive scene, Cotton Cookie approached to hang her own lantern, which contained her wish to reconnect with an old friend she hadn’t seen in a long time. As the last lantern was hung, the air suddenly turned crisp, and a chill swept through the surrounding air. The villagers hurried home to escape the cold, waving goodbye to Cotton Cookie, who stayed by the tree, determined despite the chill. She looked up at the lanterns, each flickering light representing hope, and silently wished for her friend to return. Moments later, a gust of wind rustled the branches, and Cotton Cookie felt a familiar presence. Her heart raced as she turned to see Sherbet Cookie appear, as if drawn by her wish. He floated gracefully on the wind, his warm smile lighting up the cold around them, and they spent time together sharing stories.
