Shinjikari is the het ship between Shinjiro Aragaki and Yukari Takeba from the Persona fandom.
Canon[]
Yukari and Shinjiro are a year apart. They are also members of SEES. They don’t have much interaction within the main story. Shinjiro and Yukari both refer to each other by their surnames. In the original English version, they call each other by their first names. She is one of the few who notice his soft side underneath his stoic demeanor. She is not close to Shinjiro, unlike Akihiko, who has known him since childhood, and possibly Kotone in her route after maxing out Shinjiro’s Social Link before October 4th.
Yukari met Shinjiro at the hospital on May 1st to visit Akihiko. Yukari met Shinjiro again on June 6th, and he saved her, Junpei, and Makoto/Kotone from a group of thugs. After the thugs left, Yukari spoke up and told him the reason for being here was the ghost story rumor. After Shinjiro informs her and the others what he knows about Fuuka, who has been missing for a week, Yukari thanks him for giving a hint and tells him that he is very kind. Shinjiro reacted in confusion before Yukari nervously took back what she said. Shinjiro warns her that Junpei and Makoto/Kotone will not return to the Port Island Station again. On October 4th, Yukari, like everyone else, was deeply affected by Shinjiro’s tragic death despite their limited interactions. The following day, she, Aigis, Junpei, and Makoto attended Shinjiro's funeral at Gekkoukan High.
Social Links[]
Yukari and Shinjiro are both Kotone’s social links in her route only. Yukari is involved in Shinjiro’s Moon social link, rank 6, where Shinjiro decides to make a meal for everyone with Fuuka’s help. Like everyone else, Yukari is impressed with Shinjiro's cooking.

Similarly, in the game, after Yukari thanks Shinjiro for not only saving her, Junpei, and Makoto’s lives but also giving them a hint about the ghost story being false and telling him that he is very kind, Shinjiro is confused by what she just said to him before Yukari nervously apologizes to him.
On October 4th, Yukari’s reaction was fully shown after Shinjiro was killed. She expressed shock and sadness over his death like everyone else.

Shinjikari is a rare 'fanshipping' in the Persona 3 fanbase. In fan culture, 'fanshipping' refers to pairing characters in a romantic or platonic relationship, often outside the canon storyline. Many fans believe that the canon love interests of Makoto Yuki and Kotone are the main focus, but Shinjikari has its unique appeal.
