Shivrina is the femslash ship between Marina Ida and Shiver from the Splatoon fandom.
Canon[]
Shiver and Marina, while unknown if canon or not, interacted in the music video Suffer No Fools and the 2024 concert. They also have some things in common. The two are both females; for one. And for two, the both are idols. Marina being the Splatoon 2 Idol alongside Pearl. Shiver being the Splatoon 3 idols, alongside Frye and Big Man.
Shiver and Marina's personalities contrast a lot. Even though they are the same species, Shiver seems to act more fierce than Marina does. Whom just wants to fit in with everyone around her, while knowing she's very different from them. Marina has a constant worried look on her face, and is even sometimes shy. While Shiver feels no need to not express herself, and tries to make herself look tougher than she is. This is obviously because the two were idols at different times, Marina was the first octoling idol, while Shiver was the second.
As said formerly, Shiver and Marina are both octolings. They both have a blue color scheme for the most part. Other than in splatfest, where they change colors. They both are female idols in their groups; and the only octolings in the groups. Other than their personalities, both Shiver and Marina have a fair amount of things in common.

Shivrina is one of the many rarepairs ships in the Splatoon fandom. Many people prefer Shivrina’s rivaling ships, which include Shivrye and Pearlina. But, Shivrina still has its fandom. Many people ship them because the two are both octolings, and in side order, Marina calls Shiver “graceful and elegant”. Shivrina also rivals M8rina, Callie x Marina and Mariena.
