- Hifumi – “Bwehehe... Combining your fanbase and mine would be huge, Ms. Shirogane...”
- Tsumugi – “The Ultimate Fanfic Creator and the Ultimate Cosplayer would certainly be a powerful combo.”
- — Tsumugi and Hifumi agree that their ultimates together would be a powerful duo.
Tsumugi and Hifumi haven't interacted in the series, although they've had only one interaction in Danganronpa V3's bonus mode, Ultimate Talent Development Plan events, which are not canon to the series or main games.
In said event, Hifumi tells Tsumugi that the two most powerful ultimates have finally gathered together. Tsumugi responds saying that she'd seen him at many cons before, and that his booth was always next to the wall and that there was always a long line, making him easy to find. Hifumi takes interest in the fact that Tsumugi goes to cons too. Tsumugi tells him that she cosplays at her friend's booths to help them sell their fanfics. Tsumugi then acknowledges where the converstation will be going, and says that Hifumi will ask her to be the cosplayer at his booth. Hifumi appears very shocked, as he was just beginning that question. He then goes along with it and asks Tsumugi if they could work together, combining their fanbases with each other. Tsumugi agrees that the two of them would be a very powerful duo. However, she declines saying that two ultimates together would stand out too much, people would consider it a stunt, and the most important thing for a cosplayer is to dress as characters you love. Hifumi agrees, and mentions that even in fanfiction they have to treat their source material with love, and asks her once again if she'd be the cosplay girl at his booth, making Tsumugi decline.
The similarities between the two include both of their ultimates relating to a different variation of any fan content-related talent, such as a fanfiction creator and a cosplayer. However, Tsumugi's interest in franchises of any sort is portrayed differently as she is revealed to be the mastermind of Danganronpa V3, telling the remaining students that Danganronpa is all fictional and that people from the 'real world' were watching them as if they were in a reality show, linking back to the game's main theme being truth and lies.

Shiromada sailed as a result as a result of Tsumugi and Hifumi both taking lots of interest in fan-content, and them both being the 'weeb' of the cast in their main games, making the ship well known as they're from different games, as some have questioned what would happen if the two were to meet in canon.
