Lightning Arrow is the non-binary ship between Electra and Green Arrow from the Starlight Express fandom.

Green Arrow and Electra do not have any significant interactions in the show itself. But both do participate in many of the group numbers, as well as Green Arrow being forced back up for Electra during AC/DC. Green Arrow is also supporting Electra's opponent during the final race. As he is a diesel on Greaseball's side, while Electra is there to prove why electric is the best.

Electra arrives and starts pulling trains into their circle with their magnetism. Green Arrow being one of the engine's to get caught in their thrall. He circles Electra several times before forced to the ground, and Greaseball arrives to interupt their show.

Lightning Arrow is a rarepair in the StEx fandom. Mostly due to the two not interacting at all in the show itself. Some fans believe that the two may be exes or have hooked up at some point. With this being brought up in a few Hydralectra fics. Most likely the ship is a result of StEx fandoms tendency for everyone to have at least "one random rarepair". Which is often done just by picking two random characters and going "why not". Its rival ships include EagleArrow and Electronents.

Others do like the aesthetic of them together however. Thinking the green and silver would look well together. Some also see them as an opposite's attract type of pairing. Aside from Arrow being a diesel and Electra being an electric engine, some think their personalities would be more opposing as well. Others see them as more similar, but just shown in different ways. Given that Green Arrow fights with Golden Eagle during his heat, it would be assumed that their both willing to play dirty to win.

Asher Forth originated Green Arrow while being first cover for Electra. He then went on to be Electra's principal actor for the second year of production.
