Shouta and Sawako are both classmates at Kitahoro High School. For as long as Sawako could remember, people were afraid of her because of her scary appearance. They would make up spooky rumors about her, and anytime she approached someone, they would apologize. However, Shouta never saw her as scary. Leading to Sawako respecting and admiring him.
In “Prologue”, Sawako was walking to school and she saw Shouta. She was admiring how he is always surrounded by people, and how cheerful and positive he was. Shouta then says hi to her, and she goes in to shock, thinking about how he talks to her like he does everyone else and treats her like an equal. She tries to say good morning, but he had already left with his friends.
She then gets flashbacks to the High School Entrance Ceremony, where Sawako helps him with his directions. He smiles and thanks her, leaving Sawako in shock. She talks about how Shouta became someone she admired, and how she wants to become someone like him.
In class, Shouta suggests that the class will do a test of courage before the Closing Cermony. Shouta says everyone is invited. Sawako realized that he said everyone, meaning she can go. The teacher then talks about after the closing ceremony, it’s summer break which means summer school. He asked for someone in the class to volunteer to help him, no one was doing it so Sawako raised her hand. Shouta then interrupts, saying how everytime jobs like this come up they land on Sawako, he says that it doesn’t seem fair to him. The teacher then asks him if he will do it, and he says he will. Sawako then says to herself how he noticed her doing everything by herself. She then stands up, slams her hands on the desk and says how she will handle it, and how she has nothing to do.
As Sawako waters plants, she says that Shouta noticing how she does everything made her happy. Sawako’s old friend walked up to her, asking how her class was. She starts talking about Shouta, her friend calls him “that cheerful guy”, she then says that he is more than just cheerful, how his entire existence was cheerful. After she said that, Shouta overheard them from the window, leaving Sawako embarrassed. He leans on the window and asks what he should take that as, Sawako then says it is a compliment. He smiles and comes outside, saying he didn’t really get to know her well. When he goes to see her he says that it’s a relief because he thought she hated him. She denies saying that she’s always wanted to be a person like him, and that she means it. Shouta then calls her “Sawako”, leaving her shocked, since everyone else would always call her “Sadako”.
He encourages her to come to the courage test, so she signs up for it. At the test of courage, Sawako decides to scare everyone, since it was their “expectation”. Shouta runs into her saying she could’ve told him, and that he thought she wasn’t coming. He asks if she is scared, since it’s dark and she’s alone in the forest. She denies and says she likes it. Shouta then asks if he can chill with her. Ayane and Chizuru (the other people that knew Sawako wasn’t scary), walked up to them and started teasing Shouta.
After they go, Shouta says it’s great that Sawako was getting along with them, leading to her being confused yet happy. She says it was all thanks to him, he says that he didn’t do anything. She denies and says he was the reason she was able to tell Ayane and Chizuru how she really felt. He says that she is cheering, and that’s she’s positive. She says no one has told her that before, making her blush.
The next day, people in the class give Shouta a punishment. One of the classmates pushes Sawako and says they have to date for a week. Leading to her being shocked. She then says that his reputation would be ruined, and that he shouldn’t defend her. She then says that she protected his reputation after denying the classmates requests. But then she starts crying, saying how it feels lonely, and how when summer break is over, Shouta would never look her in the eyes again and how he would start avoiding her. She then runs into him and he walks up to her, and he gives her an apology bag that the class made for her, leading to her crying even more. Thanking him for defending her. He says that he wants to see her over summer break.
"Seating Change" starts with Sawako remembering the events before summer break. Sawako runs into a dog and puts an umbrella over it. When she arrives at school, Sawako overhears two girls from another class talking about Shouta "rejecting" her before summer break. She greets them and they run away. When Shouta arrives in class, Sawako looks over at him, saying how it's amazing that people immediately surround him as he walks in. He walks up to her and they greet each other. She then thinks about how the confusion she caused must've been a pain for him, and how he keeps talking to her. Shouta notices how she got rained on, he asks if she brought a change of clothes, she didn't have any. He asks Chizuru if she had any and she gives her track suit to Sawako. Shouta puts a towel over her head to help it dry. She thanks him.
After she dries off and gets changed, she says to herself how amazing Shouta is, and how she is starting to admire and respect him more. One of their classmates, Joe walks up to him saying he doesn't have to worry about Sawako so much. Joe says he knows that Shouta feels bad about rejecting her, Shouta says that he didn't reject her. Joe asks if he said yes to going out with her. Shouta then says that it was a misunderstanding. He then remembers how he asked Sawako to see her over summer break. He starts blushing after remembering how Sawako said she admired and respected him. Shouta then says to Joe that it's not about accepting or rejecting, leaving Joe confused.
Sawako starts thinking about how Kazehaya never made her feel bad, and how he always guides her. She leaves drinks on Shouta, Chizuru, and Ayane's desks as a thank you gift. Shouta goes to look for her. When he finds her, he asks if she left that for him. She nods while blushing, saying it was a thank you gift for the towel. He asks the next tune she does that, to tell him so he knew who it was from. She apologizes, and he says he was glad it was her. He says he may have overdid it when he gave his towel to her. Shouta says that he is a little nervous at that moment. Three girls from another class were watching, one of them asked if Shouta actually rejected her. Shouta sees she has a milk in her hand and asks if its for her. She says no and it was for a dog. Turns out that Shouta ran into the same dog that Sawako ran into earlier.
The two go to see the dog. He points out that the umbrella over the dogs box had her name on it. Shouta picks up the dog and asks if he could take it home. The dog starts barking at Sawako, but she said she was used to it. Then stating that she loves dogs, even if they are afraid of her. Shouta remembers that if dogs see their owners close to someone they begin to like them more. He gets close to her, leaving Sawako blushing. She starts thinking about how Shouta is always so cheerful, around everyone. She says to him she wants to be like that, and get closer to everyone else and that she will try her best. Shouta says she can do it, and that she will be just fine. He says goodbye but before he leaves, she asks if she could see the dog again someday. Sawako realizes that the wall she feels with everyone else doesn't exist with Shouta, making her feel happy.
The next day Sawako brings a snack for Shouta, Ayane and Chizuru as a thank you gift for yesterday. She wonders if the three would even want to eat the cookies. Shouta greets her, as she closes her bag, too scared to give him the snack. During homeroom it was time for a seating change. The class draws out numbers for their seat, Sawako got 3 and Shouta got 32. Everyone else keeps hoping that they won't be sitting next or near Sawako, leaving Sawako slightly upset. Since seat 3 and 19 were next to each other, Shouta asks to switch with whoever has 19, everyone was shocked as Shouta moves next to her. After that, Ayane, Chizuru and Ryu all sit near Sawako. She finally decides to give the three the snacks she made for them.
After school ends, Shouta sees Sawako leaving and goes up to her because he thought she was crying, leaving Sawako embarrased. She then realizes why she doesn't feel a wall between them, because Shouta closes the distance.
In "After School", Shouta sits in his seat and asks Sawako to name the dog. Suddenly, Pin comes up and says a name for the dog, leaving both of them shocked. Pin states that their original teacher was busy and he would be there for a while. Sawako says that the name was perfect. Pin then stares at Sawako in the eyes for a couple seconds. Shouta desides to do the same, leaving him blushing and leaving Sawako confused. She realizes her heart beating, and how it didn't beat when Pin stared at her.
Pin asks one of the students in the class to stay after school and make the roll book, all of the classmates complain. Sawako realizes how everyone hates it so she volunteers. Pin says that's boring, so Shouta volunteers to help, everyone in the class was shocked. Then they wanted to do the job, since Shouta was doing it. Sawako says she would drop out if everyone else wanted to do it so much. Shouta disagrees, and asks if she will do it. Pin thinks that what he just saw was like a dating sim, he asks Shouta to go to the faculty office.
After school, Sawako was sitting in the classroom making the roll book. She gets a flashback to Shouta volunteering to take responsibility for her, saying how it made her happy. Shouta walks into the classroom where Sawako was, he says that he will help her and Sawako thanks him for everything. She says that what he did helped her more than he knows, saying that her day was amazing because of him. He says he didn't do anything special, and that he wouldn't be the only one who would want to talk to her. He asks to finish the role book, things go silent. The two look up at each other, leaving Shouta blshing. Pin then announced on the speaker that he wants Shouta to come to where he is. Shouta then apologizes and leaves the classroom.
After Sawako finishes the role book with some help of her classmates, she runs into Shouta. She thanks him and says that she feels herself changing because of him. He says that she played a big part in in too, saying that her connection with Ayane, Chizuru and the others is because of the effort she put into becoming friends with them. He says that she has given him some sort of powers too, Sawako was shocked that he seems to be doing the same thing for him that he does for her.
The next day in class, Shouta passes a note to Sawako, and she gives it to Ryu. Shouta takes it off Ryu's desk and says to the class that he was just killing a bug. Sawako then thinks it was for Ayane, and that she messed up. She then realizes it's for her, and Shouta laughs jokingly. She opens it, it was an invitation to hang out after school. After school ends, it was sundown and Shouta comes to a field where Sawako was waiting. Sawako sees his dog and thinks the dog was running towards her, but it was after the plastic bag in her handss. Shouta asks what she does, she says studying mostly. She says other things she does is imagine things, such as helping people in her class. The next day, Shouta wants to help Sawako achieve that. He asks for her help, leading to others wanting her help too. She then smiles sweetly, leaving everyone shocked.
In "Rumors", someone spread rumors about Chizuru being a delinquent and Ayane being a slut. Chizuru asks where this came from and one of the girls said it came from Sawako. Shouta was late to class because of Pin, he walks into the classroom and Sawako greets him. Later on in the episode, Sawako overhears people talking about the rumors and how they were spread by her. Sawako starts ignoring Shouta to protect his reputation. Sawako sees Shouta talking with his friends and he waves at her, she was about to wave back but she stops and walks past him. She says in her head that it's better if shes not around him.
The next day, Shouta goes up to Sawako. She starts to walk away but he asks why she was crying in class and avoiding him. He asks if he did something wrong, and if she hated him. She shakes her head, saying that no matter what, she would never hate him. Sawako hears people walking up to Shouta and she runs away. She says that if she hangs around him, she will ruin things, but she still wants to hang around him and stay by his side.
In "Determination", Sawako continues to avoid Shouta, Ayane and Chizuru. She doesn't greet anyone in the mornings anymore. After class, Sawako fins Shouta sitting on a bench nearby, looking upset. He says how it doesn't make any sense, if she doesn't hate him, then why is she avoiding him? She says that she doesn't want him to talk to her ever again, and then says she takes it back and starts crying. She says she doesn't want to ruin his reputation and he grabs her hand, asking what she means. She tells him why she's avoiding him, he asks who said that. Sawako then tells him about the rumors, Shouta says he doesn't need Sawako to make decisions for him. He says that if he wants to talk to her, he can and that he wouldn't be there if he didn't.
The two then go sit down on a nearby bench as Sawako blows her nose. Shouta gives her a soda, asking if she's feeling better. She thanks him, saying how she was thirsty. She continues telling him about the rumors, and about things being awkward between her, Ayane and Chizuru. Shouta then starts talking about what would happen if things were switched, and him, Ayane and Chizuru stopped hanging around her to keep her reputation. She says how she would hate it and would want to stay with them. ' In "Friends", Sawako overhears other girls talking about the rumors in the bathroom, she gets out of the stall and calls it a misunderstanding, one of the girls pins her to the wall and starts talking about Chizuru and Ayane being a delinquent and a slut, just like the rumors. When Shouta arrives at school, he sees a long line of people outside the girls bathroom. Shouta asks whats going on, and Jo told him about the argument between Sawako and the girls. Two other girls said that it was Sawako who spread the rumors and Shouta shouts out how she would never do that. He sends Ayane and Chizuru to the bathroom to handle it. After everything was settled between her, the girls, and Ayane and Chizuru, Shouta was still outside and angry about the whole situation.
After Sawako, Chizuru and Ayane solved everything, the next day they asked Sawako to get some ramen with them. The three walk out of the classroom, but before they leave Sawako smiles at Shouta, and he falls to his knees. He realizes that now that she's close with Ayane and Chizuru, she won't be able to spend as much alone time with him.
In "Saturday Night", since Sawako, Chizuru and Ayane couldn't go to get ramen they decide to go the next day instead. After the three eat the ramen, they go up to Ryu's room which is upstairs from the restaurant. Chizuru asks if they should invite Shouta, Chizuru hands over the phone to Sawako. She was hesitant at first but calls him. When Shouta picks up, he thinks it's Ryu and when Sawako talks, he was shocked and asks why she's using Ryu's phone. She asks him to come over, so he does.
When Shouta arrives, he overhears Ayane and Chizuru saying how his hair grows pretty fast and how it makes him look like a secret pervert. He barges in saying it wouldn't be a secret if he was one. Sawako looks at him and he starts blushing. Sawako smiles after he sits down and Chizuru points out how she was "laughing at him". Shouta jokes about how embarrassing it is, leading to her explaining herself. The two smile at each other and Ayane notices, in an attempt to anger Shouta she asks Sawako to sit next to her and Chizuru. Right before they leave, Shouta asks if he could walk with Sawako and she accepts.
In "Voluntary Training", Sawako's friends encourage her to start calling them by their given names. When Shouta walks into the classroom, Ayane wants Sawako to call him by his first name but she refuses awkwardly. When he sits down, Ayane told him that Sawako wanted to tell him something. She was too nervous to say it, so when Ayane lets her stop trying she thinks about how nerve wracking it was.
Pin tells the class he wants one of them to be the field day committee member. He said that choosing was a pain so he picked Shouta to do it since he was the P.E Rep. Sawako points out in her mind how no one got to volunteer. Shouta asks Sawako if shed plays soccer and she says no. Outside when their class was practicing for field day, Sawako sees Shouta playing around with his friends and blushes slightly. She starts wondering what he would look like when playing soccer as Chizuru encourages them to go back inside. As Shouta walks back inside, Sawako's heart starts beating and she blushes. When Chizuru points out how her face is red, she is confused on why she is blushing.
When Sawako was watering plants, she remembers how she met Shouta in that exact spot, and she smiles. Shouta was going to a field day committee meeting and sees a girl named Kurumi, who was his middle school classmate. Kurumi and him talk for a minute, but he notices Sawako outside and starts watching her garden and play soccer with a rock, leaving Kurumi with a cold face. A couple hours later, Shouta goes up to Sawako outside and passes her a soccer ball. The two begin kicking it to one another. Kurumi was watching them the whole time, staring outside with an upset face.
In "A New Friend", thanks to Sawako's soccer training from Shouta, she has gotten a lot better at soccer. When class starts, Sawako knew that she noticed something different about it, it was the fact that he wasn't wearing his vest. Shouta asked Chizuru how the girls field day prep was going, she says it was going great and that Sawako's new skills in soccer were helping. She was happy about that and Shouta smiles at her. Sawako tells him how Kurumi stopped by and was looking for him, he asks why, he wonders if it was about the field day committee. Sawako was shocked to learn Kurumi was on the field day committee with Shouta.
When Ryu tries to remember Sawako's name and gets it wrong, Ayane asks Shouta to demonstrate saying her full name. He says it and then Ayane tries to get him to call Sawako by her first name. He blushes and asks why. Ayane says for practice since Sawako has trouble interacting with others in terms of using first names. Shouta thinks about it and starts trying, but he stands up and says he can't. Sawako feels her heart and realizes the anxiety she felt in that moment. While Sawako was carrying papers, she hears someone mention Shouta's name, leading her to almost drop them. He was talking to Kurumi, and the people were saying how the two were perfect for each other. Sawako thinks about how she also sees how the two could be perfect together.
Later on after school in the locker rooms, Sawako realizes she feels envious over Kurumi's cuteness and how it made her feel jealous. After she talks to Ekko and Tomo, she hears Shouta's voice and looks over at him. When Sawako hears Shouta say Kurumi, she thinks it's her first name and gets slightly jealous. She realizes that her heart aches, and Shouta sees her behind the locker and he sneaks up on her. She feels her heart start to race as she looks at him. He tries to start saying her first name, but Kurumi shows up. She asks what they are doing, and says she wants to join with a smile on her face. He tries to explain but gives up. Kurumi wipes sweat off her and calls her her friend. Shouta smiles.
In "Working Together", people start practicing for field day. Kurumi and Sawako start hanging out more, even interrupting her conversations with Ayane and Chizuru. In class, Kurumi calls out to Shouta, giving him the handbook for the field day committee. Sawako doesn't get jealous, but she does realize how natural Shouta and Kurumi can talk to each other.
Kurumi and Sawako were sitting together, and Sawako tells her about how she can't speak properly with Shouta. She wonders if it's because he's a boy. Kurumi tells her about how Shouta was never able to leave outcasts alone, and how he talks to anyone naturally. Kurumi says that Sawako and Shouta are totally different, and that she should hang around with people more like her. Sawako points out that her and Shouta seem close, but she denies it and that they're normal. Sawako said that she didn't know that the standard for normal was that high.
Shouta went to go get a drink and he runs into Sawako. The two look at each other and Shouta realizes that he was getting nervous, leaving her shocked. He points out how the two of them haven't talked much recently, and she is relieved to know that Shouta was also nervous. She smiles, and he blushes at her. He points out that she hasn't smiled like that ever since they were at Ryu's house. Kurumi notices the two from a window and calls out to Sawako, Shouta calls her Kurumizawa, which is her real last name and Sawako is confused. He points out to Sawako how her real name was Ume Kurumizawa, not just Kurumi. Sawako feels slightly releived that Shouta hasn't been calling Kurumi by her first name. Kurumi asks if she can talk to Sawako and he says yes.
Sawako and Kurumi start walking together. Kurumi starts saying how there is someone she has feelings for, and says she wants him to be her boyfriend but she wasn't sure what to do, and asks Sawako what she would do if she was in Kurumi's situation. She says that she didn't know, but Kurumi says that she wants Sawako's help. Sawako is shocked that someone like Kurumi would like her help, and asks if she is sure. Kurumi says that she asked her specifically. Sawako gets nervous, and then Kurumi tells her who she likes. It is Shouta, Sawako was shocked and didn't know what to do.
In "Special?", Sawako thinks about Shouta and Kurumi becoming a couple since Kurumi likes him. She realizes that he will have a special someone, and wonders if she could help with that. Kurumi thanks her for helping, even though she didn't accept yet. Kurumi was about to leave, but Sawako stops her. She apologizes, and says that she can't help her, leaving Kurumi shocked and upset. Kurumi asks if she can't see her and Shouta as a good match, and Sawako says that's not what she meant. She says that the two would be a great match and Kurumi thinks that means Sawako will help her. Sawako says that she can't support Kurumi from the bottom of her heart. She starts realizing how she thinks of Shouta and Kurumi gets angry and upset. She says that she understands how Kurumi feels, and Kurumi tells her to shut up. Sawako is confused, and doesn't think it was Kurumi who said that, she then tells Sawako to back off. Kurumi asks if she's trying to date Shouta and she denies that thought. Kurumi asks if he thinks she's special because he treats her nicely and she says yes. Kurumi says she's just looking for someone who treats her like a normal human being and that it doesn't have to be Shouta. Kurumi runs away, leaving Sawako in shock.
At night when Sawako gets home, she starts thinking about what Kurumi said, realizing she was kind of right. Sawako says she has been spoiled by Shouta's kindness. She thinks about what would happen if someone else treated Sawako like Shouta did, would she still feel the same way she feels about him? The next day, it was time for field day. Ayane puts Sawako's hair in a bun, and Shouta smiles at that. He walks up to her and gives her a fist bump, telling her to do her best. Sawako looks at him and wonders if she only has those feelings for him because he is nice to her.
The girls won the field day soccer game because of Sawako. and Shouta cheered for her. But after she kicked the ball, her shoe flew off and landed on Kurumi's head as she was calling out to Shouta. He calls out to her after they get back from the field and gives her a high five, Kurumi sees this and gets upset. After everyone settles down and Ayane & Chizuru leave for volleyball practice, Kurumi walks up to her with Sawako's shoe in her hand. Kurumi acts like she found it because people were watching, and Sawako thanks her. Kurumi starts walking away, but Sawako apologizes for what happened yesterday. Kurumi tells her not to call her that anymore, so she says her first name instead. Kurumi tells her to stop and how her birth name, "Ume" is an insecurity, and Sawako says it cute. Kurumi gets angry because of that and Sawako apologizes.
Sawako decides to sit next to Kurumi during a game. The two of them both see Shouta and waves to Sawako, but Kurumi waves at him, thinking the wave was for her. Suddenly, Joe throws a ball and it was about to hit Sawako. Shouta yells to her to watch out but Ryu caught it before it could hit her. Kurumi says that she should start talking to Ryu more, only to get her away from Shouta.
In "Romantic Feelings", Kurumi asks what she thinks of Ryu, and she called him nice. Kurumi points out how thats the same way Shouta is, and that her feelings for Shouta aren't "special". Sawako says that the game is starting, and that she knows how much Kurumi wants to watch him play baseball. Kurumi says that she doesn't know Shouta like she does, and tells her about how she would always watch over him everyday. She says that she knows Shouta well, and Sawako can't compare to that. Sawako tells Kurumi that she wants to learn more about him and her feelings. Kurumi walks away and realizes that Sawako accepted her "challenge". Sawako finally realizes her romantic feelings for Shouta. Shouta goes up to Ryu and asks him if he has feelings for Sawako, he says he likes her, but not in the way Shouta thinks. Ryu said he caught the ball before it hit her because he was closest, but Shouta says that he wished he caught it instead.
Later on, Sawako wants to thank Ryu for saving her earlier, so she finds him and calls out to him. Ryu tries to remember her name and then he looks at a note and says it right. Sawako thanks him for saving her earlier, and she gives him a juice box. He asks if that's all he needs but she says she wanted to talk to him, he asks what its about. She asks him if he could tell her what romantic feelings felt like. He tells Sawako that he is in love with Chizuru and she says how the two are made for each other. Kurumi waits for Shouta so she can bring them to Sawako and Ryu, and make it look like the two are dating. Shouta and Kurumi finish walking and he sees Sawako and Ryu, he immediately gets jealous and runs to stop them.
In "Love", after Shouta sees Sawako and Ryu together, Shouta rushes up to Sawako and pulls her away, leaving a very surprised Kurumi behind. Shouta stops running with Sawako, he says he couldn't help but pull her away because it bothered him. Shouta asks her if she liked Ryu, and she says yes, but not in a romantic way. Shouta falls to the floor in embarrassment, and Sawako finally realizes that she is in love with him. He says that he just wanted to help her but ended up making things worse. He then states how he's not the great guy she thinks he is, and that he's sorry he can't help her in certain situations anymore. Sawako says it's okay, even if he is those things. She tells him she doesn't need him to be her savior. Out of the blue, Shouta asks if she would like to go out sometime, leaving her in a shocked state. He laughs and says it doesn't matter for now.
With Ayane and Chizuru, Ayane tells Chizu about liking Shouta and how she was definitely sure of it. There ended up being a misunderstanding, Pin started to think Kurumi liked her and Shouta saw the whole thing, and Kurumi gets upset. Later on in the day, Ayane and Chizuru go find Kurumi and confront her about the rumors. Sawako sees them and runs towards them, then Ayane tells her that Kurumi was the one who spread the rumors to keep her away from Shouta.
In "Kurumi", Sawako didn't believe Kurumi spread the rumors but she admitted it. Sawako asked why and Kurumi said she was getting in the way of her and Shouta. After a couple hours, Sawako goes back to where Ayane and Chizuru confronted her and sees Kurumi sitting under the tree. Sawako tells her that she likes Shouta romantically. Kurumi gets upset and tells Sawako she will always like Shouta, and she starts crying. She says what good is being cute if Shouta doesn't feel the same way she feels about him. Sawako says she wants to talk to Kurumi about Shouta's good side.
In "Rival", Kurumi and Sawako talk about Shouta and their feelings for him. Kurumi walks away and Sawako wonders if they could ever be friends. In the evening, Shouta talk to Kurumi about liking Pin but she confesses her real feelings towards him. He rejects her, saying he already liked someone and she points out how obvious it is. With Sawako, she tells Ayane and Chizuru about her feelings for Shouta, and they ask her questions about her feelings.
The next day, Kurumi completely changed. Sawako asked if they could be friends, but Kurumi says they are rivals. At the field day after party, Ayane and Chizuru continue asking her questions about her feelings for Shouta. She steps outside and he goes to look for her. He sees her asleep on the stairs and tries to wake her up, leading to him saying her first name. Sawako then leans her head on his shoulder, completely unaware of it.
In "Day Off", Ayane and Chizuru come over to Sawako's house. Ayane shows Sawako the pictures of her sleeping on Shouta's shoulder, leaving her shocked and embarrassed. Ayane tells Sawako to tell Shouta about her feelings and she asks why. Ayane says she wants the two to start dating and Sawako says it's impossible. Pin calls Shouta because he's sick and talks about him running into Sawako yesterday. Shouta calls Chizuru to talk to Sawako, and she agrees to go help him feel better. Sawako, Shouta, Ayane, Chizuru and Ryu all go over to Pin's house.
Sawako was about to help, but Shouta gets jealous and does it for her. He realizes like he's taking care of him like they're dating and gets weirded out. However Sawako was excited, calling him a good caretaker. Sawako started cleaning Pin's apartment after he falls asleep, and finds pictures of young Shouta. He gets embarrassed and rips the picture out of her hand, she apologizes but he just says its embarrassing. Sawako asks if she could look again, he turns his head and says no. Their faces get extremely close and they both look away and blush.
As the group leaves, Pin tells Sawako that if she ever needs information about Shouta or Ryu, she can come to him. Shouta sees this and gets upset, saying how he doesn't want Pin saying anything about him. After they leave Pins house, Sawako was about to walk home and says her goodbyes. Ayane asks Shouta if he is going to walk her home and she says its fine, but Shouta says that he'll go with her. The two start walking together, but Sawako grabs Shouta's jacket. He turns around and sees her with her eyes closed, leading to him leaning in to kiss her. But then the two notice what they were doing and back away and blush.
In "Chizuru's Love", Shouta sees Sawako and Chizuru, and walks up to them. They greet each other and then go to class.This section is in need of major improvement. Please help improve this article by editing it.
