ShouRitsu is the slash ship between Sho Suzuki and Ritsu Kageyama from the Mob Psycho 100 fandom.

Canon[]

Sho first appeared at the 7th Division of Claw, where he hoped to recruit strong espers for his personal army. He encountered Ritsu and the other Awakening Lab kids as they were escaping. Sho warned them to return from whence they came, evidently thinking that they would get in the way of his plans. Ritsu challenged him and Sho utterly defeated him off-camera. Sho stood by invisibly as Mob found the unconscious Ritsu and subsequently clashed with Muto.

Later, Sho appeared at a critical moment to punch Ishiguro upside the head, counter his attack, and defeat him. He called Mob a disappointing wimp and gave Ritsu a significant glance before vanishing into thin air.

World Domination Arc[]

Sho next appeared at the front door of the Kageyama household. Ritsu and his parents are at home when Ritsu hears a knock on the door. Ritsu opens the door to see Sho Suzuki, one of Claw's espers. When Mob heads home he sees his home burned to the ground and burned bodies, which causes his emotional state to go ???%.

It's later revelead that Sho convinced Ritsu to accompany him, evacuated the latter's parents, and burned their house down as a means of inciting Mob to action. Sho and Ritsu plan their move to take down Claw's boss, Toichiro Suzuki, who turns out to be Sho's father, after Sho convinces Ritsu it's necessary. He even says that Ritsu is stronger than Mob due his arrogance. After watching Toichiro's world domination announcement on TV, Sho mobilized his troops and set off to confront his father directly. After defeating numerous low-level espers, he one-hit K.O.'d Hatori and finally reached his father. Sho released his Charge Bomb, Serizawa blocked it, and Toichiro retaliated with his own version of the technique.

In the epilogue of the Manga, Sho has been invited by Serizawa as 'an old friend',and he takes part in Reigen's birthday, bearing sodas. He is pleasantly surprised to see Ritsu there.

Behind the Scenes[]

“I feel Shou’s thoughts on Ritsu are; he’s intelligent, he’s about as powerful as I am, he’s balanced, and “he understands the things I say”. I feel like Ritsu always tries to look at the bigger picture. I understand wanting to work together with someone for the express reason that you can’t trust them. For Shou, self-control is important, isn’t it? He’s sensible, being able to suppress his own powers, yet use them properly against an enemy when needed. And yet, some powers can be overwhelmed. One of Shou’s lines is, “powerful idiots are the biggest trouble,” and that’s exactly it. I think Shou finally found, in Ritsu, a companion that he can talk to on the same level with. I don’t think what the two of them have is some simple friendship. There’s not been any happening so as to nurture that kind of relationship. For me, I think what they have is something akin to sympathy, between them.”

“You’ve probably had the experience before where when you talk to a friend, you find that you have similar home-life situations. For me personally, I’ve always thought that Ritsu is a truly good kid. He is patient with everything. Of course, Shou puts up with things too, but Ritsu endures everything, even though he could let all his emotions out in an explosive way. In that sense, there’s something conflicting there, I suppose.”
