ShrimpBasket is the het ship between Shrimpo and Bassie from the Dandy's World fandom.
Canon[]
Shrimpo and Bassie are both fellow Toons. Shrimpo can be bought from Dandy's shop with the right requirement at all times, while Bassie can only be bought from her own shop during the Easter event (also with the right requirements). Shrimpo and Bassie currently do not share any dialogues with each other.
Shrimpo is a male non-event regular Toon resembling a shrimp. He has a passive ability that drastically decreases his stealth. On the other hand, Bassie is a female Easter-event Main Character Toon resembling a flower basket. She possesses four inventory slots instead of three. Additionally, she also has the ability to pick up and drop items from her inventory.
Personality-wise, Shrimpo is a mean Toon who has no respect for others. He always yells during his shared dialogues with other Toons and possesses an aggressive body language, even in his Twisted form. He is constantly mad and states that he hates everything. Meanwhile, Bassie is a Toon who is scared of being replaced for not being good enough. Unlike Shrimpo, Bassie cares about her own image and wants to be loved by being helpful just like her fellow Main Characters.
Bassie has a fellow Easter Toon named Cocoa, who is a regular Toon that has been bordering too close to her sole purpose as a Main Character. As a result, Bassie seems to resent her out of envy. This is shown by her dialogues with Cocoa, where Bassie acts passive aggressively towards the oblivious other. While Shrimpo has no dialogues with Cocoa either, it is safe to assume that he also hates Cocoa just like he does with the other Toons.
Fanon[]
ShrimpBasket is a rarepair in the Dandy's World fandom. Many fans ship them because of how Bassie and most likely Shrimpo too dislike Cocoa, creating a bond as a result of a mutual dislike. Additionally, it may also be because of the two's contradicting personalities, spiking the famous Opposites Attract trope. This is because Shrimpo is a meanie who doesn't care if he is hated on, while Bassie is very wary of her own social image and fears others don't think she is of any worth as a Main Character.
Since it is not very popular, it is easily overtaken by more recognized ships such as RageBait, AngryHugs, and ChocolateBasket.
