Shurrin is the non-binary ship between Corrin and Shura from the Fire Emblem fandom.
Canon[]
Corrin is the main character of Fire Emblem: Fate. Their gender and appearance is chosen by the player at the beginning of the game. Shura is a character that appear and is playable in all routes of the game.
Shura was born and had a relatively happy life in Kohga until the neighboring kingdom of Mokushu invaded killing most people, Shura was one of the few survivor. After this he moved to Nohr and became a thief. Corrin was a prince/princess of Hoshido who grow up in Nohr. The routes of the game depend if in chapter 6 they choose to support their family from Hoshido, to support their family from Nohr or to didn't choose between the two. In all route Shura joins Corrin's army. He can support Corrin. If Corrin is female they can archive a S support and marry. If they do they will have a son named Kana.
Birthright[]
In Birthright, Corrin decide to stay with their family from Hoshido. After this a war broke out between Hoshido and Nohr. When Corrin and their army reach Windmire (the capital of Nohr) in chapter 22 they are attacked by Shura and his gang of thief. Shura and his allies are defeated. When Shura learn that Ryoma is the High Prince of Hoshido he reveal that his family has always served the royal family of Hoshido before the destruction of Kohga. Ryoma promises that he will help Shura to rebuild Kohga at the condition that he help them to find a secret tunnel to enter the castle. After doing this Shura joins Corrin's army.
Conquest[]
In Conquest, Corrin decide to stay with their family from Nohr. Corrin finally came to invade Hoshido. Along their army they embarks on a ship in chapter 16. Shura and his men go on the ship dressed as nohrian soldiers. They try to steal the money of Corrin's army but are found by the nohrian royals. He fights them but is defeated. After this he is interrogated by the Nohrian siblings reveals his past , that was hired by Yukimura to kidnap Azura after Corrin's kidnapping by the king of Nohr and that he boarded the ship to both steal money and to get a "ride" to Mokushu to take it down if war broke out. He propose to serve Corrin in exchange to have his life spared. After this Corrin has the choice to kill or to spare Shura. If Shura is killed he will ask Corrin to make it quick and after Shura's death the player will get a pair of Boots. If he is spared he will joins Corrin's army.
Revelation[]
In Revelation, Corrin refuse to choose between their two families. They finally go in a quest to unite their both families to reconquer the hidden kingdom of Vhalla. In chapter 15 they go to at the Rainbow Sage so that he can unlock the power of the Yato (Corrin's sword). Shura first appears as an enemy , when Corrin talks to him he learns that they have killed his enemy Kotaro (who has destroyed Kohga) and decide to joins them.
Supports and ending[]
In her C support with Shura Female Corrin remarks that Shura always eat alone. Shura answers that he don't want to be see with the others since his bad reputation can damage their good names. In their B support Corrin see that Shura is alone as usual. Shura answers that Corrin is very generous with her time and attention while most royalty are not so giving. She say that he is ally as important as the others. He instist that she has to avoid his company off the battlefield and that he don't want her honor to be tarnished. She ask if he feel shame about his past as an outlaw and he answers that he do. She remarks that he only did crimes for surviving and that he is not the only one in the army that would like to erase his past. He finally say that he will try to talk with the others. In their A support Shura thanks Corrin because thanks to her he talked with the others and feel that he has learned anew the value of companionship. After this he express thanks to this he has understand that he should be focusing upon what he can do to help. Shura promise that if Corrin need anything she can rely on him. In their S support Shura admit that he dreams of a reborn Kohga but admit that he has a other dream but he know that this one will never become true. Corrin answers that she think that his dream can become reality and that he can share is dream with her. Shura say that he dream of being in a rebuild Kohga with Corrin and ask her if she want to be with him. She agree and they wed.
If Corrin and Shura are married in Birthright or Conquest, after the war Shura rebuilt the kingdom of Khoga (with Hosido's cooperation). Corrin was hailed as a hero, working alongside her spouse to spread peace worldwide. In Revelation Corrin became queen of Valla, if she married Shura she helps him to rebuild Khoga.
Fanon[]
Shurrin is the most popular pairing for Shura due to the fact that Corrin is the only character that he can marry. However for Corrin this ship isn't one of the most popular. This a due to the fact that since Corrin can marry all others characters (except for Kana who is always their child) some others options are considered to be better. Since Shura is only available in late game most players already married Corrin with someone else. Shura is what the Fire Emblem fandom call a "Corrinsexuals" a playable character that only has a few support conversations and can only marry Corrin ,most players don't use them. However Shurrin is the most popular ship for Corrin involving a "Corrinsexuals". This is mainly due to the fact that Shura is one of the most popular "Corrinsexuals".
The slash version of Shurrin exist, but is rare. Many fanarts show Female!Corrin, Shura and their son Kana.
