Sidvali is the slash ship between Revali and Sidon from The Legend of Zelda fandom.
Canon[]
Breath of the Wild[]
Revali and Sidon are never seen interacting with each other in any of the cutscenes nor do they acknowledge each other at any point of the game as they are shown to never have properly met.
Age of Calamity[]
Due to Terrako's summoning of the Gates of Time for the purpose of saving the Champions and the Divine Beasts from the Blight Ganons, the adult Sidon is among one of them who has been brought back in time, though he was there to save his sister Mipha rather than Revali as Teba was the one protecting the latter. If the player has already completed the Air and Lightning Scenario before doing the Water and Fire scenario and Revali is chosen for the latter scenario, they player would reach Divine Beast Vah Ruta to flush out Waterblight Ganon to ensure Mipha's safety. Mipha will be too exhausted to join them and stays behind to help through her Divine Beast as Sidon joins Link and his friends to help Daruk and Yunobo get rid of Fireblight Ganon. If the player switches from Revali to Sidon during this time, Revali will say "You!" rather than Sidon's actual name, but it's not in a rude tone as Revali does not know Sidon very well and even if he met the young Sidon in his era, he would not even recognize him as an adult either. After the Water and Fire Scenario is complete, Revali will start calling Sidon by his real name once he potentially learns who he is. Curiously, Sidon calls Revali by his name despite not meeting him before which suggests that he knew of his name through the tales of the Champions in his own time as Mipha is known to not be the only Champion who fought Calamity Ganon.
The two of them only interact as battle partners as they do not interact in any of the cutscenes, Revali will be impressed by Sidon's abilities while adding that it wasn't all that he can do while Sidon seems to praise Revali's as well which shows that they each show a good amount of respect for each other. The two of them, however, have opposing views on Link as Revali is not fond of Link as he was the one who was chosen by destiny to fight Calamity Ganon instead of himself who earned his way to be the top warrior of his tribe through so much hard work while Sidon thought highly of Link the moment they first met and has faith in his competence that he will be victorious and it is noted that this is the same Sidon from Breath of the Wild due to his already meeting Link in his own timeline and still misses his sister from his own timeline. Their conflict is shown in one of the challenges called "The So-Called Knight" where Revali and Sidon have their debate through battle between the Zora and the Rito while Link goes all out to show them what he is made of.
Fanon[]
While Sidvali is not on the same level of popularity as Sidlink or Revalink, it does have its fanbase, with currently ten slash fanfics while there are five friendship fanfics in Archive of Our Own. Its fans have most preferred the slash ship when Sidon is an adult which puts him closer to Revali's biological age, while the relationship between Revali and the infant Sidon is always platonic in nature. Regardless of whether Sidon is shipped with Revali or not, if Revali is shipped with Mipha which the two of them end up marrying, it would make both him and Sidon brothers in law, essentially making them a part of the extended family. It really helps that the fact that Terrako's time traveling abilities haved allow the adult Sidon to travel to Revali's era, or Revali traveling forward in time, in any way, that will make it possible for this ship to occur if the author chooses to ship them in this way. In non-ship fanfics, the interactions between Revali and the young Sidon has its way of being both adorable and humorous with Revali being nervous on how to handle Sidon when he becomes affectionate towards him.
