Sigurd is a character from the Fire Emblem fandom.

Sigurd is a descendant of Baldur. As such, he carries Major Holy Blood. Sigurd acts as the main lord for the first half of the game Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War in which he and his army embark on a quest to save his childhood friend Edain, setting off a chain of events that would send Sigurd across the continent of Jugdral on a journey of love, loss, and betrayal. Sigurd also appears in the mobile spin-off Fire Emblem Heroes and as an Emblem in Fire Emblem Engage.

As a main lord, Sigurd is a figure familiar to many in the Fire Emblem community despite his original game having yet to be released officially outside of Japan. However, there is some debate over whether Sigurd or his son Seliph is the true protagonist Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War.
Many imagine scenarios in which Sigurd's tragic death was avoided, and him living a happy life with his new extended family.
