Silqualm is the het ship between Alm and Silque from the Fire Emblem fandom.
Canon[]
Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia[]
Alm and Silque are two playable characters from Fire Emblem Gaiden and it's remake Fire Emblem Echoes Shadow of Valentia. Alm is an orphan raised in Ram village raised by his grand-father Mycen. When the chancellor of Zofia killed the king and took the power the Deliverance is created to oppose him. The Deliverance sent a soldier Luka to recruit Mycen who was a competent general in his youth but he refuse to join the Deliverance. But Alm decide to join the Deliverance alongside his childhood friends. Silque is a cleric of in Mila's service. She was sent to Ram village in order to deliver Mila's Turnwheel to Mycen. Howerver before reaching the village she is captured by bandits. During his travel to join the rest of the Deliverance Alm and his companions meet the bandits that captured Silque, when he hear that they held someone captive he attack them. After the battle alongside his friends he go to the bandits hideout and slain the whole group of criminal. When he find Silque he ask her if she was hurt and she answers that they saved her before the bandits could do anything to her. Then Silque learn that Alm is Mycen's grandson she give him Mila's Turnwheel and join his army.
During their travel Silque will reveal her past to Alm. Silque never know who was her father, her mother was a cleric who took her during her long pilgrimages. But one day her mother left her in Novis Priory (the same where Celica grown up). She also say that he can ask her advices if he need to know which plants are edible. Their journey lead them to Rigel were Mila's brother Duma is worshipped. Here Silque reveal to Alm that she is from Riguel and that her mother was a cleric of the Duma Faithful.Later Alm fight and kill the emperor of Rigel Rudolf who reveal to Alm that he his is father before dying. After the battle Mycen reveal to Alm that he is truly the son of Rudolf who entrusted him to Mycen to later unite the continent and put an end to the reight of the gods. They unite with Celica's group and finally kill Duma who has become mad because of dragon degeneration.
After the war Alm marry Celica and became the first king of united Zofia. Silque traveled to the former Rigel to heal all that she could since the war had left many wounded.
Fire Emblem Heroes[]
Both Alm and Silque can be summoned in Fire Emblem Heroes. In the event Lovely Gifts both Alm and Silque participate to the Day of Devotion. For this event Silque has prepared gifts for many of her friends including Alm. They are both fought in the last map of the event Heart-to-Heart.
Fanon[]
Since Alm already has a popular canon romance, and that unlike Faye and Clair Silque don't show any romantic interest in Alm Silqualm is a rare pair. In general players prefers to ship Silque with a characters who are free such as Jesse or Faye. In general Silqualm is featured in NSFW fanworks and is often included in fanfiction were Alm has a harem. A really small part of the fandom ship them seriously mainly because of their interaction when Alm rescued her from bandits. The fanfictions were they are a couple take place in an AUs.
