Slickball is the femslash ship between Greaseball and Slick from the Starlight Express fandom.

Wembley Park Theatre[]
Slick approaches Greaseball before the start of the big race, asking her for a word. Greaseball allows it, and Slick says that Greaseball's title as champion is secure. Greaseball says that she already knows this, and for Slick to stop grinning so that she can cut to the chase. Rusty then appears asking for someone to race with him, scattering Greaseball and Slick to the sides. Slick tells Greaseball that steam trains can get fast, and Greaseball says that she's listening. Slick then goes up to Rusty and agrees to race with him, and he goes off. She then tells Greaseball that if Rusty can't start then he won't win, planning to take him out before the race even begins. Greaseball thinks that's nasty and says that she likes it. Slick says she thought she might, and brags about how much she likes to be bad. Greaseball reminds her whose side she's on, skating off as Slick says that she's on her own side.
When Slick causes Rusty to crash, Greaseball comes forward and says that Rusty was the cause. Slick then joins her, and Greaseball tells her that they did a great job of getting Rusty out. She and Slick leave, but come back when it's just Pearl and Rusty. The two joke about Rusty's accident, and Pearl realizes that Greaseball was the cause. Greaseball says that Pearl will just get suspended if she goes forward and Slick tells Rusty he'll never beat the others. The two leaving once they're done.

Slickball is a rarepair in the StEx fandom. Mostly due to how new Slick is to the show, only being introduced in the latest London Revival. As well as the ship more often gettting overshadowed by GreaseDinah. Some have interpreted Slick as being jealous of Dinah's relationship with Greaseball. Having her purposefully try and get between the two so that she can have Greaseball all to herself. Or having her get on Greaseball's good side specifically so that she can get with her after Dinah and Greaseball's break up. On AO3, there are currently 2 written works.
