Smoked Buffball is the poly ship between Ashley, Buffy and Greaseball from the Starlight Express fandom.

Bochum 2013-2018[]
Rusty is told to get the coaches as Greaseball and his gang taunts him. He grabs them including Ashley and Buffy, who smile at Greaseball as he leaves. Later, after Electra arrives, Greaseball shows up. Buffy and Ashley, as well as the other coaches, get excited by his arrival and beg him to choose one of them for his racing partner. Though they are quickly told to stay clear by Dinah. Ashley and Buffy then dance back up for him as he explains why he's the best diesel out there. Continuing to fawn over him, even as he skates over him. He calls over Ashley and slides her through his legs, her fawning after she rights herself again. He then calls over Buffy and does the same with her. The two then continue to dance back up before joining the other girls who all gather around Greaseball as he finishes his song. They then back up Dinah and Greaseball and they confront Electra.
After Greaseball ends things with Dinah, Ashley and Pearl go to check on her. Dinah tells them what happened, and the two comfort her. Buffy then tells her that if she's gonna want Greaseball back she'll need to go on the attack. Ashley adding that Greaseball isn't the only engine around. They then remind her that she doesn't need Greaseball, and are able to cheer her up.

Smoked Buffball is a rarepair in the StEx fandom. Mostly due to Buffy and Ashley not having many interactions with Greaseball in most versions. As well as many fans believing that the two wouldn't be big fans of Greaseball after his treatment of Dinah. Its main rival ships include GreaseDinah and Smoked Hot Dogs. On AO3, Smoked Buffball is the third most written ship for Ashley and second most written for Buffy. There are currently 2 written works.
