Snorplo is the slash ship between Snorpington Fizzlebean and Chandlo Funkbun from the Bugsnax fandom.

Canon

The two of them met in kindergarten, and have been best friends since. While Chandlo decided to join the expedition in search of a challenge that would make him stronger, he insisted Snorpy to join him as he was concerned for his health and assumed the fresh air and change in scenery would help him. Snorpy reluctantly followed Chandlo out of trust.

The player first meets Chandlo during the mission 'Ghost Stories', in which he returns to Snaxburg briefly before mentioning that he needs to return to Snorpy. The player can then visit them at their temporary home in Sugarpine Woods, where Chandlo is seen trying to convince an anxious Snorpy to leave their house. Chandlo reassures Snorpy that it's safe for him to go outside, and even lifts their house to force Snorpy out. Noticing the Journalist's presense, Chandlo explains that, while he would like to return to Snaxburg, he doesn't want to cause Snorpy anxiety. Snorpy worries that Chandlo is being too trusting, but gives the Journalist a chance for his sake. He tasks the Journalist with using one of his inventions to help Chandlo collect his stray basketballs, the latter revealing that he knows he could get them on his own but he wants to use Snorpy's snakgrappler. After helping Chandlo, he is more willing to return to Snaxburg, but still refuses to leave without Snorpy, claiming he would be lost without him. Chandlo knows Snorpy is keeping secrets from him as to why he is afraid to return, but trusts the Journalist to convince him it's safe. Snorpy says he wishes he could tell Chandlo everything, but fears he would be putting Chandlo in danger. After helping Snorpy, he reluctantly decides to return to Snaxburg, much to Chandlo's delight. While thanking the Journalist for their help, Chandlo asks Snorpy if he wants him to carry him back to Snaxburg, to which Snorpy becomes flustered.

After returning to Snaxburg, the two can be found wandering around the town. As the town gets more troublesome, Chandlo expresses regret at putting Snorpy in danger. During their personal interviews, Snorpy redacts their names out of protection for their identities. He explains that he was dragged to the island by Chandlo, who was concerned for his wellbeing, and that he just can't say no to him. Chandlo explains that he wishes to grow stronger so that he can protect Snorpy. He gets offended when the Journalist implies that him choosing to live on the island isn't good for Snorpy, claiming that he is always looking out for Snorpy and that there was no way he would have come to the island without him. When asking the two about their relationship, there seems to be some miscommunication. Chandlo states that they have been together since forever, whereas Snorpy gets flustered and laments that, while it would make perfect sense if they were dating, Chandlo has never said they are.

When Snorpy's older sibling Floofty returns to Snaxburg, they confront their brother on having yet to tell Chandlo how he really feels, where Snorpy quickly changes the subject. During Snorpy's personal sidequest 'Snorpy Saves The World', Snorpy explains to the Journalist why he is keeping secrets from Chandlo. He states that Chandlo is far too pure for the world of chaos Snorpy lives in. Chandlo is shown to be angry at Snorpy for going off without him, stating that he could've been hurt and asks to finally find out what Snorpy has been keeping from him. Snorpy tells the journalist that he hates keeping secrets from Chandlo and wants to tell him everything, but he fears Chandlo will not believe him. He then states that he'll probably end up losing Chandlo whether he tells him or not.

During Chandlo's personal sidequest 'Chandlo Tests His Might', he attempts to remove a tree stump in their garden and goes into further detail as to why he is so determined to become stronger. He worries that no one else will have Snorpy's back and that's he'll always be in danger. He rarely talks about his mission without mentioning Snorpy. After failing to remove the tree stump himself, Chandlo is frustrated when Snorpy does it for him. But he quickly realises Snorpy was only trying to help and thanks him.

During Beffica Winklesnoot's personal sidequest 'Beffica Seeks The Truth', she dresses up as Chandlo to try and find out some of his secrets. She tricks Snorpy into confessing his love for Chandlo, unaware that he is actually talking to Beffica. She reveals that his feelings aren't a secret to anyone. The confession implies that he and Chandlo have infact spoken about their relationship in the past, however neither of them seem to be on the same page.

While at Filbo's final party, Chandlo refuses to dance without Snorpy. Snorpy reveals that he is planning on telling Chandlo how he feels, which he does once the Journalist convinces Floofty to stop talking to him and dance. Snorpy tells Chandlo that he has always been unsure about his feelings before asking him out. Chandlo seems confused, which Snorpy mistakes as rejection. Chandlo then reveals that he thought they had been dating for years. He reminds Snorpy of the time they kissed and moved in together, to which Snorpy claims he assumed they were roommates with benefits. Chandlo then apologises for the confusion and kisses Snorpy, causing him to blush. Chandlo tells Snorpy he loves him and the, now official, couple join the rest of Snaxburg on the dancefloor.

During the final fight, Chandlo and Snorpy both express that their number one concern is keeping each other safe. If either of them are killed by the Bugsnax, the other will let out a pained scream. If both survived, Snorpy realises that Chandlo was always there for him throughout the fight and decides that he can, in fact, share everything with him. Chandlo notices that Snorpy has gotten stronger and realises that his own strength doesn't matter when they're stronger together. If Snorpy dies, Chandlo expresses how weak he feels without him and promises to destroy anyone who was after Snorpy. Floofty also comments that they need to deal with their own grief for their brother so that they can look after Chandlo. If Chandlo dies, Snorpy will state that he is dead inside and express relief that he got to tell Chandlo how he really felt before he died.

During the epilogue, if both survived, Snorpy can be seen working out while Chandlo reads a book, taking an interest in each other's hobbies.

DLC

After triggering the Isle of Bigsnax DLC, the two can be found on the beach, Chandlo flirting with a flustered Snorpy. Snorpy shows reservations when it comes to exploring the new island and refuses to go, much to Chandlo's disapointment. He expresses worry about being away from Snorpy, fearing something might happen to him. Triffany convinces them that time apart is healthy and Chandlo reluctantly leaves Snorpy behind. Chandlo later tells the Journalist that he's never been so far apart from him and that Snorpy's not okay without him.

While talking to Triffany, she tells the Journalist that she could ask Chandlo to help her open the temple but she knows that if she puts him in any danger, Snorpy will find out and scold her.

Chandlo speaks to the other members of the expedition about his concerns regarding Snorpy. He reveals that he's concerned about Snorpy's anxiety and paranoia, frustrated that his attempts at calming his boyfriend down haven't worked. He confesses that he's scared he's losing Snorpy to the madness. He comes to the conclusion that forcing Snorpy to go to Snaktooth Island was a mistake and vows to get Snorpy the help he needs.

Before leaving the island, Chandlo tells the Journalist that he is going to call Snorpy as soon as he can because he misses him a lot. When Chandlo returns to Snaktooth Island, they are both happy to see each other. Snorpy almost calls Chandlo "my love" before correcting himself. When Snorpy tells Chandlo he knew he would be okay, Floofty teases Snorpy and claims he was probably in tears the whole time. Chandlo apologises for forcing Snorpy to come to the island, which surprises Snorpy. He forgives him and states that he knows Chandlo was just doing what he thought was right, which Chandlo now knows is the problem. They then return home together.
