SnowCase is the het ship between between Sam Snow and Kit Casey from the The Creature Cases fandom.

Sam and Kit have been appeared in every episode and every chapter during every creature case. In some other episodes. they would be either absent due to someone being sick or in a different task. Every creature case solved they do a fist bump or other creative ways like the tea time chime.

Chapter 1

Season 1 Episode 1 The Mystery on the Monsoon Express

EP 1: Mystery on the Monsoon Express

In their first episode, Kit is trying find all the hidden paw prints. Kit only found 5 as for Sam he told her that she missed three. While they were about exit R.O.N. (the airship) they were skydiving and activating their glider packs. When Sam was about to grab the roof door he lost balance but Kit managed to actually save her from loosing his balance. While when they landed on the train Kit managed to open the roof door. But Kit lost her balance and was about to fall from the train but Sam managed to save her from falling making them both even.

EP 2: The Riddle of Raging Rhinos

In the episode "The Riddle of Raging Rhinos", Sam and Kit where actually playing a holographic handball game together inside R.O.N. Sam got energy while Kit got almost which led to Sam's high score which he beat Kit. While chasing a genet Sam used a tiki pole and used it as a festive lights as zipline while Kit hugged grab him behind and catches the watermelon from a rhinos and throws it at the genet.

EP 4: The Hunt For The Hidden Hive / The Trouble Of The Toppled Trees

In the episode "The Hunt For The Hidden Hive" Kit was about to drink Oolong tea but Sam stopped her from drinking the tea because its 4 minutes not 5. When Kit's tea is ready Sam added Buckwheat honey to make the tea taste sweet and Kit liked it. When the C.LA.D.E. crest was flashing from her mug she activated and go to the Director Scratch's office while Sam followed but felt a little upset and groaned that Kit didn't finish her tea. While they were in the office and during the case Kit taught her how to make bird calls but failed until one time Sam managed to to make the bird call during the mission. After the creature case closed with the bees they both have tea time and chimed their cups together.

In the episode "The Trouble Of The Toppled Trees" in the opening scene Sam were both playing video games together and Sam won. During their mission Kit saved Sam from a falling tree.

Chapter 5 Episode 5 The Mysterious Fruit Thief.

In the episode "The Mysterious Fruit Thief", Sam and Kit where watching a movie called "Attack of the Cheese People" Kit got scared and Sam was scared second. Then they both got scared of the jump scared from the movie and of all a sudden a CLADE crest bleeping in the TV which they activate it to meet Director Scratch.

Chapter 5 Episode 5 The Riddle of the Wrestling Lizards

While in the episode "The Riddle Of The Wrestling Lizards", During their mission Kit got bitten by two wrestling Gila monsters on her arms which she got poisoned from the venom and has a drunk-like state. Sam slowly brought Kit to a wooden pool tub full of water which let the Gila monsters got out from Kit's arm. After that Sam takes Kit inside of R.O.N. to rest letting Bill and Jill to keep on eye of Kit. When Sam was about to leave the airship Kit was about to say something to Sam, causing Sam to turn around and face her, but instead Kit just pinches Sam's cheek and called him "A nice kitty cat," After their solved creature case, they have a celebration in the wild west town, the same location the Gila monsters used to terrorize them.

EP: 8: The Case of the Blue Bandit / The Honey Badger Break-In

In the episode "The Case of the Blue Bandit", upon finding out that all the things that went missing are blue, and figuring that they have to use blue bait to catch the blue bandit, Kit approaches Sam with a grin, claiming that she knows just the thing. Sam quickly figures out that the thing she had in mind to use as bait is his beloved blue Clu-bot, much to his dismay and he tries to get it away from her, all while she was still grinning and keeping him in her sight. Later, after returning all the stolen things and getting donated blue objects for the 'blue bandit' Larry the Bowerbird, Sam donates his blue Clue-bot, causing Kit to comment that he is full of surprises. At the end of the episode, Kit drags Sam to dance under the Clue-bot's disco ball light.

In the episode "The Honey Badger Break-In", when Sam and Kit return to R.O.N, they are assailed by bees. Later, Director Scratch calls them to show them the photos from the Mice Squad, which includes a photo of Sam crying from fear and pain; even though Kit is also being stung, she consoles Sam and the duo hide behind some rocks.

Chapter 1 Episode 11: The puzzle of the poisonous leaves.

EP: 11: The Puzzle of the Poisonous Leaves / The Mystery of the Missing Hare

In the episode "The Puzzle of the Poisonous Leaves", Sam and Kit originally planned to go to different vacation spots, but after solving the case at the Howler Monkey resort, they decided to have their vacation together there.

At the end of the episode "The Mystery of the Missing Hare", R.O.N's heating systems were offline, leaving Kit freezing, Sam gives her his warm chicken hat. When it does not fit Kit, he offers to knit her a new hat.

Chapter 2

EP 1: THE Missing Mammoth: A Holiday Mystery

In the only episode of season 2, Kit and Sam were talking about the best parts of the holidays when there was a sudden turbulence which caused a snowman ornament drop and pushed a time travel button which travelled them to the Ice Age.

Towards the end of the episode, Sam pushes R.O.N. down a slope for Kit to reach the Northern Lights to get energy fuel and take them back.

Chapter 3

Chapter 3 Episode 3 The Undercover Hyena

EP 3: The Undercover Hyena / The Stranger in the Burrow

In the episode "The Undercover Hyena", Kit paints Sam to disguise him as a hyena, and remains close by to support him. When he was unable to produce a "whoop" sound loud enough for the hyenas to hear in the 1st test, she advises him to use his glove's speaker. Later, when the hyenas give Sam the 2nd test, which is eating whatever they find, regardless of what it is, Kit gets worried since hyenas are known to eat very gross stuff. However, the 'gross' stuff Sam gets is a ripe mango fruit, which is gross to the hyenas. Unable to see nor know what Sam was eating, Kit sympathises and says, "Poor Sam, whatever he's eating must be really gross". The hyenas then send Sam to fend off an invader as his 3rd and final test, which turns out to be Kit, who comes up with the idea to stage a fight. After Kit leaves, claiming that she gives up, Sam tells the hyenas, "I don't think we'll be seeing that hideous creature ever again" causing Kit to turn back, feeling offended at being called 'hideous'. When Sam's ruse was exposed, Kit returns to defend him from the hyenas, which results in her and Sam telling the entire truth. Fortunately, the hyenas willingly helped them find Wally, despite them being non-hyenas.

In the episode "The Stranger in the Burrow", Sam and Kit snatch a music player from each other, due to wanting to play different types of music, before getting a new case to solve. Later in the underground burrow, Sam decides to use a 'good agent, bad agent' tactic to get the Burrowing Owl to come out of the apartment. Sam threatens to clean up all of the Owl's dung in the hallway, while Kit tries to convince him not to do so. At the end of the episode, upon entering R.O.N, Sam plays Kit's upbeat music, insisting that they can listen to it on the way home, but Kit responds by changing it to his peaceful music, insisting that they listen to his music. The two then repeatedly change the music, insisting that they play the other's favoured music, until the music changes to Director Scratch's chicken clucking music, which they both find catchy.

In the episode "The Mysterious Ant Circle", Sam helped Kit meditate to stay still while army ants crawl over them, after she had commented about meditating not being her thing. Kit also helps Sam tolerate the smell of pickles, after he had commented about their odour.

Chapter 3 Episode 5: The Case of the Curious Keas

In the episode “The Case of the Curious Keas”, Kit throws a snowball at Sam to have fun. Later, Sam and Kit defend and warn each other about snowballs being thrown at them, even though one eventually lands on Sam’s face and another inside Kit’s jacket. Towards the end, Sam then throws a snowball at Kit to get her to lighten up.

Season 3 Episode 7: The Case of the Scorpion’s Sting

EP 7: THE Case of the Scorpion's Sting

In the episode “Case of the Scorpion's Sting", Sam is not allowed to go together on the mission with Kit. He then panics and begs Director Scratch and Kit reminds him to stay strong. He then begs Kit to call him and tries to get her back when Scratch sends her down. Later, Sam calls Kit during inconvenient times and constantly asks about her well-being. When the duo are reunited, Sam comes back to his normal, happy self.

Chapter 4

Season 4 Episode 8: The Vanishing Of Mr Blue

EP 8: The Vanishing of Mr. Blue

In the episode "The Vanishing of Mr. Blue", Kit begs Sam to let her sleep in his bed, and upon seeing her sparkly pleading eyes, he gives in and agrees. Later at the end of the episode, Kit finds herself unable to sleep due to the moonlight shining through the window. Sam then offers to trade back, which Kit responds by dashing into her bedroom, causing Sam to laugh.

Season 4 Episode 10: The Hidden Hitchhiker

EP 10: The Hidden Hitchhiker

After Sam and Kit solve a case in the Asian Jungle in the episode "The Hidden Hitchhiker". Kit claims that they can do anything when they stick together. The two then head into R.O.N. to fly back to CLADE HQ, only to find that the controls are stuck, which causes them to have a bumpy ride, resulting in Sam and Kit getting stuck to each other's backs. They then spend the majority of the episode stuck together until finally getting unstuck upon receiving a spray bottle filled with water from the Stinkwells. After returning Vinny the Velvet Worm to the Asian Jungle, Sam and Kit fist bump, only to get stuck together again.

Moments

• In the episode The Case of the Talking Tree, Kit plays random loud sounds on her speaker, startling Sam, but she tries to reassure him. Later, Kit saves Sam from falling off a tree.
• In Sam and Kit's Bedtime Mystery, After solving their last case for tonight in the Australian Grasslands, Sam became sleepy and found a patch of grass to fall asleep on whilst Kit joins him.
• In the episode The Haystack Stakeout, Sam is seen making flower wreaths, presumably for Kit. Kit also draws pictures of herself and Sam as superheroes.
• In the episode The Missing Mole Rat Princess, they encounter a dust devil while following footsteps. Kit almost gets sucked into it twice, but was grabbed by Sam before she could.
• In the episode The Puzzle of The Empty Pond, Kit offers Sam an umbrella after he refuses to step outside because of the rain.

SnowCase is one of of the most underrated ships in The Creature Cases Fandom. Not just they mostly work together in C.L.A.D.E. as partners in crime but they both share a bond to one another both on duty and off duty and even friendly tease each other. They are literally roommates who both share the same room in C.L.A.D.E. HQ. One of the reasons why people ship them is because of their dynamic; Kit is usually playful and energetic both on and off duty, while Sam is more self aware to himself and serious about getting the work done.

In the official YouTube account of Octonauts and Friends (who are also the creators of The Creature Cases) posted a video of clips of Sam and Kit in their adventures. which the video is titled "The Creature Cases - Spending Valentine's Day with Your Best Friend 💕🫶" which is platonic but it was deleted for unknown reasons. They only put Best Friends rather than lovers because it's a kid's show. Until Kidzuko and The Creature Cases Official YouTube account was reposted. Both have the same video but the only difference is the title name changed in The Creature Cases YouTube account that says "The Creature Cases - 🦊 Best Friends 💕 | Valentine's Day Mysteries | Compilation | Animal Detectives"

Some others prefer them as a brother & sister-like dynamic rather than a couple.

On May 2024 one of the storyboard artists named Alessio Menghi even made a shipping fanart of Sam and Kit in Instagram.

In the Official Netflix Jr. YouTube account there is a video called Sam and Kit’s Bedtime Mystery. In one of the final scenes, both Sam and Kit fell asleep together in the grass. Because the video is only more of an audio book, Shippers imagine them as they are cuddling each other while they sleep.

The official Creature Cases account has even acknowledged SnowCase by typing "Us In Another Universe" in Facebook and Instagram.

Trivia

• Even as roommates, Sam and Kit both live in separate bedrooms that fit their personality. Sam's room is basically clean and modern-like while Kit's room is more funky and messy.
• Sam and Kit's dynamic has different health habits. Sam mostly likes to have healthy habits like cleaning and maintaining his fur while Kit's habits are mostly unhealthy like eating oversalted popcorn and pickles with cake.
• Originally the ship name was supposed to be SnowKit but due to to the popularity and fanbase from Tumblr. SnowCase is the most recognizable ship name.
