Snowbook is the het ship between Snowball and Book from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
The Power of Two[]
The two are placed on the new Team 2 during the Team Swap phase. In the team portrait, an excited Snowball is seen shoving Book in the face. During the first challenge as new teams, Book and Price Tag strongly object to Snowball's idea of tossing Ice Cube in the team pit. Book argues with Snowball about it until Pin suddenly stabs Snowball and causes Ice Cube to get flung away. Price Tag calls for the team to retrieve Ice Cube and Book gets offended when Snowball questions Ice Cube's usefulness to the team. Though, Snowball decides to follow through when most of the team agrees with Price Tag. The team eventually finds Ice Cube inside the moon where both Snowball and Book are surprised to see Ice Cube regain her legs. After hearing an idea from Price Tag, Snowball orders the team to roll the moon into their pit. He slips during his run-up on the wall, making Book scream as the moon starts spiraling out of place. The moon eventually makes it into their pit and the two cheer about it with the rest of the team.
When a fish monster ends up in the hotel, Book and the rest of Team 2 help Snowball with carrying it back down to the hotel's basement. For the challenge when the team goes back basement to take care of the other fish, Snowball warns Book to watch herself when she slips on the floor. Later when Snowball is busy with freezing the basement water, he tells Book and Price Tag to hold the fish off. Eventually when a fish monster bursts a pipe open and floods the basement, Snowball orders the two to look upstairs and find items to stop the fish monsters. Book later swims down with a stake to fill in the hole, making Snowball cheer upon the success.
In the next Cake at Stake, Book and Snowball are announced the 3rd and 4th ones safe. Book poses for a picture with Snowball, showing a gleeful Book with an irritated Snowball. Book then uses Marker to draw a smile over Snowball's mouth. In the capture the flag challenge, the team finds a cabin after climbing up a mountain wall. Snowball orders the team to look for items where Book and Price Tag are met with a stash of food. When team BAGGED finds them inside and causes a fight to pick up, Book gets mad at Pen for pushing Snowball, knocking him over as Book tells Pen to leave her teammate alone.
The next challenge tasks the teams to go back to the past and retrieve the failed debuters in the wrong time period. For Team 2's first task, Book bumps into Snowball and points out the door of Gelatin's Steakhouse when the latter is confused on what changed. The team finds Shopping Cart emerging from the steakhouse, where she accidentally causes the potential customers to scream out of fear when tripping over one. After Grassy calms them down, Book compliments him and Snowball places her and their teammates into Shopping Cart to return to the present with. On their next task, the team chases after Income Tax Return Document when he runs off with the Firey from the past. After Price Tag accidentally distracts the team, Book loses sight of Income Tax Return Document and Snowball angrily questions where he went. As Snowball tries to take Income Tax Return Document out of Firey's place in the time period, Book, Ice Cube, and Price Tag learn from the ground shaking that they are forced to keep him in there to prevent the timeline from breaking. After the group is able to retrieve Firey and send Income Tax Return Document back to the present, they decide to compete with BAGGED in the last task of retrieving Leek from the past. Book finds the team climbing up the barf bag and doesn't think they can catch up, prompting Snowball to find another route to take. After slicing the giant barf bag open, Snowball tries to throw Tennis Ball away, though this backfires as Team 2 slips in a puddle of vomit caused by Bottle being knocked over. A saddened Book and an irritated Snowball accept defeat with the rest of their teammates when BAGGED successfully retrieves Leek before them.
In the hide and seek challenge, Snowball, Book, Price Tag, and Grassy look over a map for potential hiding spots. Marker and Tree invite the four to come with them, which Snowball declines only to find the rest of his teammates joining them. When the two lead Team 2 into a forest, Snowball takes Book, Grassy, and Price Tag and launches the three up a tree to hide in. Book feels uneasy about the tree they picked as Snowball tries to reassure her about it. However, the two find out that the top of their tree is hardly covered compared to the ones around them. The team is then forced to resort to staying on the tree when Black Hole accidentally sucks up the surrounding ones. When they suddenly find out X is seeking for them right beneath them, Snowball asks for the three to balance on top of him. After Grassy is thrown elsewhere to preserve the balance, Book asks Snowball to be careful. Snowball then angrily tosses Book elsewhere and finds that he is able to better balance on top of the tree.
During their team's next Cake at Stake, Book is the first one safe and TV presents a clip of her winning Dream Island. Book is happy to see it, although Snowball rolls his eyes at the sight. However, Grassy and Snowball quickly realize they are in the bottom two, with Book feeling bad for them. Snowball ends up receiving the least votes of the team and is eliminated.
Fanon[]
Snowbook started to gain some traction after episodes following TPOT's Team Swap has them working together as teammates. Though fans thought they would be more contrasting at first, their ability to get along is noted on posts that have a liking towards them as a duo. Shippers of the two sometimes implement headcanons relating to gender that tie into other gay ships involving them, usually for those more mixed on the pairing. The ship has attracted fan art on platforms such as Twitter and Tumblr, with a couple examples relating to the photo taken of the two in one episode.
