Snowfan is the het ship between Snowball and Fanny from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
Battle for Dream Island Again[]
When Pen freaks out over seeing Pin glitching out outside, Snowball takes Fanny's blade off her body and sticks it out of the roof of the Locker of Losers. He places a crank on the LOL which makes Fanny's blade propel them away from Pin, relieving Pen. When the contestants inside the LOL end up getting their appearances enhanced, Fanny gets revived by it after getting her blade torn off by Snowball.
Complaining about not having arms to help Eraser crank the LOL, Fanny is held by Snowball who angrily tells her how she can help out. Snowball attaches the crank on Fanny's face, causing Fanny to exclaim the pain coming from it. Snowball and the others cheer, but Barf Bag stops Fanny from hurting and cranks it herself.
Battle for BFDI[]
While forming teams, Lightning thinks that Snowball wants someone with an aggressive attitude and invites Fanny over. Snowball, while upset with the fact that Fanny has no arms, settles for her attitude and welcomes Fanny to the team. Fanny says that she hates him and later yells that she hates the first challenge when Snowball confirms Lightning's clarification about it.
In the stair climbing challenge, Snowball becomes angered when Flower volunteers to do it for her team instead of him. Fanny tries telling him to calm down, stating that letting Flower do the challenge will be safer for all of them. However, Snowball is offended by this and slams Fanny to the ground, disconnecting Fanny's blade from her body. Snowball then quickly gets over it, throwing Fanny off to the side.
Fanny is revealed to have survived being slammed down by Snowball after the challenge, with a wire keeping her blade connected to her body. At Cake at Stake, Fanny glares at Snowball for what happened, although he is clueless about what she's mad at him for.
In the next challenge when Fanny is launched back to her team, this connects Fanny's blade back to her body to Snowball's surprise. However, he becomes annoyed when Fanny yells that she isn't back in one piece mentally. The two, along with the rest of the team, later work on digging underground to find X's emerald.
The Power of Two[]
During the debut at the start of the season, Fanny stands on top of a snoozing Snowball to get a better view of the second debuter. The two end up on different teams for the season.
Fanon[]
Snowfan has been around since the start of the show's fourth season. Mainly originating from Snowball's acceptance of Fanny for her character, the pairing was prevalent in the fandom during the time. Shippers usually enjoy their shared aggressive nature as fan art of the two often demonstrates this. While some fans find it abusive due to Snowball being shown to hurt Fanny on a few occasions, them getting back on good terms makes it up to those who support the ship. The poly ship Snowlightfan, the two and Lightning, was also fairly common during the season since Lightning maintained a friendship with both in the show. The pairing is not as popular nowadays, although still garnering support on online platforms. Aside from their ships with Lightning, Snowlight and Lightfan, pairings such as Fubble and Snowblock also rival the ship.
On AO3, the ship has 6 works under its romantic tag. It is the fourth most written ship for Fanny and the seventh most for Snowball.
